I will give credit to my wife tough, she kept her self busy walking every where she wanted to go, she even walked to the mall, which was a good 5 miles from where we lived.
I pulled some strings and got her a job at Kolhs and she eventually made some friends with Chinese women and got her self a job at a factory working the second shift.
There is a huge culture shift for them, When she started working at the factory I signed her up for direct deposit, she was pissed that she was not getting the pay check in hand that she could physically take to the bank.
Hang in there and as others have said she needs to do something, an idle mind is a devils workshop.

Over time I have heard some common themes about Chinese Women from American men marrried to them. May be this will help the Op better understand his wife and please I do not mean to offend any one, please.
1. Clean freaks and their way is the only way how things should be cleaned. I know a guy whos wife wipes every thing with bleach once a month.
2. They never ever aplogise or say sorry about any thing, may be in their actions but never in words.
3. Chinese womans approach to marriage out side of China is what I would call pragmatic. Find a nice guy who can care for them, marry him and then fall in love with him.
4. They are only here because of you, for example, once I am 6 feet under my wife will be on the first flight back to China.
5. If you love them and care for them they will return it back to you a 100 times over.
6. They will always find something to complain about.

Just a suggestion, If you are planning on going there surprise her so she does not have any time to think what she or her family are going to say to you. Maybe her friend can send you an invitation letter.

Not sure of this but do look into this. I think a spouse can not act as an ingterpreter and you will need to ask a friend.

Immigration does not care about your married status. All they care about is that you have a valid Indian Passport and in your wife's case a valid visa on the way in and you have a GC and valid Passports on the way out.
You can both go threw the non Indian citizens line for Immigration check.

I have lived in CT for over 20 years now. CT has a lot of high end jobs, Hartford is home to the Insurance Industry, Stamford has a lot of Financial sector jobs, GE capital is spread out over Fairfield county, Danbury has a few GE units and also a big German pharmaceutical company Boehringer Ingelheim and also Duracell.
Most CT school districts are consistently ranked amongst the best in the Nation.
Bridgeport, New Haven yes God help you if you live anywhere there.
Finding a job in CT is really dependent on where exactly you live. I have lived in Danbury for almost 20 years and when my wife first came over she spoke very little English but was able to find a factory job across the state line in NY. We have since moved to the Hartford area and if she went out looking for a job here she ain't going to find one.

The bottom line is they (GUZ-stapo) did not believe her when the first K1 was filed and they are not going to believe her now. I am not saying they are right but thats how it looks to me.

From what I have seen on here everyone try's to help each other and not withhold info, but when you make comments like this, it hard to help someone who does not like to help others.

Theres really is no one size fits all.
I had gone to ACH (which does not exist anymore) the day before my fiancées interview and was told by the VO that we will not have any problems the next day.
My fiancées interview was short, about 3/4 simple questions and it was conducted in Chinese without she asking for it. Only the last question was in English.
I have no proof of this but from my experience it looks like if they have decided on your case before the interview to approve you then the interview is just a mere formality.
If there is some doubt in their mind about your case then the interview becomes very critical and then the English vs Chinese comes into play.
