  1. This is NOT a drinking game … although the ubiquitous propagandizing makes me wish I had a bottle of Smirnoff Black Label in the freezer. ☠️ Everyone over- and micro-analyzing the shooting is missing an essential truth. Without the hyper-partisan framing of the ICE agents as the gestapo-like evil by the far-left politicians and their media lackeys and the hopeless radicalization of the left to advocate for those criminals in this country illegally, idiots like this woman would not be making dumb decisions like this. Until consequences are visited upon those stoking the hatred for law enforcement carrying out their duties, this is only going to get worse. 🙁
  2. Trump Leads SEAL Team To Capture Rogue Dictator Gavin Newsom POLITICS· Jan 5, 2026 · BabylonBee.com Copied SACRAMENTO, CA — Only days after the toppling of the Maduro regime in Venezuela, news broke Monday morning that President Donald Trump had led a Navy SEAL team to capture rogue dictator Gavin Newsom. Reports came in in the early morning hours that loud explosions had been heard near the governor's mansion, with multiple witnesses saying they saw Black Hawk helicopters flying low over the city. A statement from the White House later confirmed that communist despot Gavin Newsom had been apprehended by Navy SEALs under the command of President Trump. https://babylonbee.com/news/trump-leads-seal-team-to-capture-rogue-dictator-gavin-newsom ☠️
  3. The implicit collateral damage would be unacceptable. The Iranian people are not the enemy here. Also, we don’t need that much glass. Solar reflectivity, climate effects and all that jazz. ☠️
  4. I am stunned … nay, shocked, even … that the unwashed liberal hordes have not yet decried the President for executing this apprehension so that he could award himself the bounty offered by his predecessor. 😱
  5. The Iranian regime is unlikely to fall if the only dissent is mass protests. They have weathered enough of these in the past and are hard-headed enough to continue to do so. i think the only way this evolves into significant change is if a senior figure, or more than one, in the IRGC decides that they have better prospects if they back the current President, or even the exiled Crown Prince. It would be far more preferable for the civilised world if the protest organically led to a truly democratic, secular revolution. However, the military, and in particular the IRGC, hold the most leverage. What is worse is that any outside assistance could plunge the region into chaos, which makes it extremely unlikely that any help is coming for the protesters. ☠️
  6. In this case, I think there is at least a component of “follow the Chinese military personnel on site and neutralize their impact” to consider.
  7. When will people go to jail because of this? Otherwise, what’s the point? ☠️
  8. Trump announces 'Trump Class' of new Navy battleships The president said they'll be "100 times" more powerful than earlier ships. By Michelle Stoddart and Lalee Ibssa December 22, 2025, 9:02 PM ET • 7 min read President Donald Trump announced a new class of battleships to build out what he has dubbed the Navy's "Golden Fleet" that he says will be "the fastest, the biggest, and by far -- 100 times -- more powerful than any battleship ever built." "We're calling it the Golden Fleet that we're building for the United States Navy. As you know, we're desperately in need of ships. Our ships, some of them have gotten old and tired and obsolete," Trump said. https://abcnews.go.com/amp/Politics/trump-announces-trump-class-new-navy-battleships/story?id=128634473 Someone needs to tell President Trump that this is so NOT a good idea. Against modern weaponry, a battleship is just a very, VERY expensive artificial reef. ☠️
  9. This theory renders suspect any Afghani refugee who left family members behind when they fled the country. It also exemplifies how brutal and inhumane the Taliban are, that they would execute family members and behead children as retaliation. Truly sickening. ☠️
  10. I wish he could be buried in the US Normandy American Cemetery, with so many of the other brave soldiers from the D-Day landings. 🥀
  11. Someone needs to let the British military know about that. SOP when overrunning an enemy position is to expend two rounds into every body, to ensure no miraculous resurrections occur. ☠️
  12. What gets me is the EVERY. SINGLE. GAS STATION still lists prices to the tenth of a cent? WHY??? 😫
  13. Reports I’ve read suggest it was the Number 2 (top) engine with the issue, possibly suffering a compressor. That would explain the continued turn, as the right engine would still be providing off-centre thrust. There was nothing the crew could do to save the plane, the fire was too extensive. Even without losing a second engine, there was no way to get the plane on the ground in time to be survivable. But if they hadn’t lost a second engine, and with the engine mounting pylon still attached from the engine they did lose, they would have had control of the plane. With 2 engines, a fully loaded MD-11 can still climb out on takeoff and give the crew a chance to find a place to put it down away from the general population. They just did not have luck on their side.
  14. I always wondered why those 72 individuals were still virgins in the afterlife. Having an overactive imagination led me to think that anyone expecting this as a reward was going to be sorely disappointed. ☠️
  15. I’m sorry, but the title of this thread is heightist 🤬 I feel threatened and demeaned by the mere implicit attribution within the word “shortage” that people of less than average height are to blame for the lack of suitable matrimonial candidates. The fact I have a short temper has nothing to do with this. ☠️
  16. ‘Tis English, meaning the inexplicable fear of ungulates, to which family of mammals meese belong. 😗
  17. That’s 250 moose that won’t be voting this time around. Ungulatophobia is rampant in Maine. ☠️
  18. No, but he’s too skinny to be Batman’s sidekick. ☠️
  19. The essential problem with the FAFO principle, especially when it comes to politics, is that the offending party has to realise that they F’dA in the first place, to realise that they are FingO. In the case of the Democrats and lawfare, the majority of those vocal donkeyhonkers still believe they were using the legal system in the way it was meant to be used, because for the past sixty years or so, they had done exactly the same and suffered no consequences. ☠️
  20. Everyone knows that the military is actually run by those NCOs ranked Sergeant and above. Officers are merely there as window dressing. 🫡
  21. The UK won’t change direction as long as Starmer leads a Labour government, and he doesn’t have to call a General Election until 2029. By then, the public sentiment currently in evidence across the UK (even Scotland) may have dissipated (or be in jail), or the country may just be too far gone to help. ☠️
  22. Britain faces £2 trillion Palestinian reparations demand after its recognition by UK PM Starmer https://sundayguardianlive.com/world/britain-faces-1632-trillion-palestinian-reparations-demand-after-its-recognition-by-uk-pm-starmer20250923171820-147221/amp/ And suddenly, it’s not so funny any more. ☠️
