* Kristin * reacted to Markip1 in N-400 September 2022 Filers
So, my interview was this morning at the Brooklyn office. My wife came with me, they allowed her into the building but kept her in the waiting room as the officer didn’t want to speak with her.
I did the N-400 interview alone, passed all tests answered a few very basic questions about my name, DOB, job, travel history. I was then told that as the I-751 was being waived I couldn’t be formally approved on the spot and that they needed to do some work in my case behind the scenes to close it all out. They said I shouldn’t worry as I should expect to hear from USCUS in a few days to be scheduled for an oath ceremony.
I spent ages assembling all our documents and the officer didn’t ask to see anything at all other than my Green Card. It actually took longer to get into the building that it did to be interviewed! Feels very strange to think that this process is very nearly over.

Same situation here too - ROC was done sooo long ago, biometrics were a reuse, and just waiting now 😩

...Disregard my last post (apologies, can't figure out how to delete). I see how straightforward it was to submit all the "evidence" and since we have it together anyway, we submitted tonight. Yay!

* Kristin * got a reaction from Austramerican in Letter Certifying Pregnancy & intent to marry
Congrats on the little one on the way.. unfortunately, USCIS aren't really the touching and caring types! \
Just keep the letter to the sample. It works. It's been accepted. No need to complicate things at this stage.

* Kristin * got a reaction from ML1 in Forms on Packet3
Either one.
We found it easier to type the stuff, but if you have a long address or something (like many UK addresses!) you'll have a few continuation sheets.

VisaJourney.
VisaJourney is the web site you are on.
sergnavi,
Was your fiance born in another country, by any chance? Even if she has UK citizenship but was born elsewhere, this could sometimes cause the person to go into AP.
Hang tight; hopefully not too long but there's no way of saying.

* Kristin * got a reaction from Nich-Nick in Bit scared now, advice needed
In terms of additional 'proof', as others have mentioned - not required by London. My now-husband came arme with a small briefcase full of stuff. They only cared really about the I-134 + paperwork, and asked him like 3 questions - so much stressing for nothing, he thought
Good luck xx

* Kristin * got a reaction from John Dam Dam in Im a muslim and my soon to be husband will file K-1
1. You need more evidence of having met in the last two years. You need something like boarding passes, hotel receipts, trip itineraries, etc.
2. I would never submit pictures of nikah. This can be construed as already being married. The K1 visa is for individuals who wish to move to the U.S. and THEN get marries.
3. If you want to get married in your home country, do that. Then file CR-1.

* Kristin * got a reaction from Andie in Have I been used?/Is she using me?
I am so sorry to hear all of this... don't bring her to the US. Get out of this "marriage." Find a woman who really loves you; there is one out there.

* Kristin * got a reaction from Austramerican in K-1 visa denied
Sorry, but having a child will have no effect on your visa - approval or denial.
Did they state why you were denied in the letter?
I think you will have to try to appeal; I don't believe you will be able to re-file... but I am NOT positive about this.

* Kristin * got a reaction from ameribrit in Evidence of Financial Support and Engagement
You will need to show financial support. As Jay Kay mentioned, you'll have your USC fill out the I-134. Supply past tax transcripts and a letter from the employer/recent paystubs.
With regard to London, no need to send evidence or proof of ongoing relationship. London is super easy.
If you're like me - and a paranoid freak - we brought stuff to the interview, anyway. If you read past reviews of London, it's not requested.
All the best!

* Kristin * got a reaction from Casprd in cant remember eployer's address
Can you try searching for the company / place you worked online?
We did that to find my fiance's old addresses. I mean, we called everywhere-- to the point of calling the stores on the high street to ask them what certain roads were called, what building numbers were around there, etc.

* Kristin * got a reaction from Patrick&Chloe in Is there such thing as "too much"?
My fiance's folder of evidence, etc. weighed as much as our cat.
Yes, it was overboard but boy, we were super prepared.
Regardless of what you bring and how much, make sure you can easily find everything you are looking for

Correct - in the UK you TAKE the documents with you to the interview
The only thing you will send in are the forms themselves!
