Just like America's Funniest Home Videos, only I soppose it was Russia's Funniest Home Videos.
I always like the prank TV from Canada called "Gags". I watched it while in Alberta.

These immigration officers are on a power trip. Our interview wasn't so smooth either, since our officer who was also young tried to make it look like my husband had been in the US illegally before the paper work was signed which wasn't true. She kept asking him about his passport stamps and why he kept coming into the US so much.
Needless to say we did get our Green Card, I am sure it will happen for you too.
Good Luck,

if I were to settle down it would be Tucson. I would like to live in
the Wild life reserves. or near mt. limon
Yes we are very lucky to have 4 great mtn. ranges near us, Mt. Lemmon aka The Catalinas to the North,The Santa Rita's to the South, the Rincons to the East, and The Tucson Mtns to the West. We are also only 2 hours from The Chirachuas and 3 hours from Mt. Graham aka The Pinalanos.
Flagstaff rocks though, you in PHX only have a 2 hour drive to Flag or Payson...

Awesome! I'd LOVE to pay to see a child pornographer!
Townshend is not a child pornographer, he was doing legimate research for a project.
I love The Who... I drool over Roger Daltrey... see me feel me touch me... oh boy I just melt when I see those blue eyes and gold, curly tresses... if ever there was a man who is the Ultimate sex symbol - then that man is ROGER DALTREY!!! Listening to you I get the music...I watched the online concert from Germany last night. Daltry is still a hot looking guy at 62. He has shorter hair and glasses ,but he has kept in great shape and can still rock n roll.

Hey fellow Zonie are you sweating up there!!! I'm down here in Tucson where it's a few degree's cooler.
Hubby got a job in Flagstaff for the summer cause he couldn't handle the heat. I was all for it , cause I can go up to escape the heat and enjoy the cool air.
The bummer thing is I thought I get up there more , but work is here..
I am leaving tomorrow morning early to escape the hottest drive through PHX.

The Who is still rocking after all these years, and sounding better than ever.
You can download about 20 minutes of free webcasts of their concerts.
Last night I saw the one from Switzerland. It was awesome.
Roger Daltry and Pete Townshend are in fine form. The drummer is Ringo Starrs son.
Check out all the action at Pete Townshend's web site www.petetownshend.co.uk
or the live action at www.thewholive.tv

Just my advice, but it sounds like you should come to the states as a Visitor for 6 months and then work on the K-3 or K-1 from here. The K-1 will take you at least 9-10 months to get. This will only allow you to come into the US to get married, and then do Adjustment of Status which will allow you to get a permanent resident card.
It depends on the situation, but there are alot of us that have had problems going back and forth to Canada once the paper work is in.
The K-3 is filed after you are married and I am sure they will require you to leave the country while it is being processed.
Good Luck,
Everyone's situation is different.

We are both stubborn, I want want I want, he want's what he wants, so we argue, ect.... He usually ends up doing what he wants, I do what I want, or if he wants to go to do something I usually try to support him in the end, and vice versa, although it's a long haul getting there.

How many of you traveled immediately home after recieving your green card? Anton has been away from Alberta for 9 months. He's afraid he may loose his residency in Canada if he doesn't return soon, plus he wants to see his father who is needing some help to get ready for winter on the farm...

Is your husband a permanent resident of Canada, or a Canadian citizen? I ask because under "country" you put Austria/Canada.
If he is not a Canadian citizen but a PR, he has to be in Canada for at least 6 months every year. He can file for a Returning Resident Permit (Canada) which will allow him to stay outside of Canada for over 6 months.
Anton is a landed immigrant in 1993 to Alberta, Canada from Austria. He lived in Alberta until we started this Immigration to US... I guess he has it all under control, according to him he needed to be back in Alberta by Jan 07, before he lost his benefits up there, so we shall see... Anton has to do thing's his way anyway no matter what I am worried about and it usaully works it's way out, and I guess once he gets back up there he can figure it all out...
thanks for the info..

Last Friday, July 7 It poured rain here in Tucson like I have never seen it before. I have lived here since 88.
It dumped . The roads became rivers, and if It had rained a couple of more minutes I would have been bailing water out of the house. The back yard was a swimming pool.
13 feet of water in some places where there is normally none.

Tucson is 42, PHx and Mesa rate higher. Wages are higher in PHX/Mesa, but so is the heat.
In Tucson we are still eating Sunshine rather than having high wages, although the cost of housing is going up.
Maybe it's time to move back to PA. I see Harrisburg did well. I used to live in the Harrisburg area.

Gosh,
This is crazy, why are you being penalized when your @$$ ex-was the abuser.
Like you said, you could not read the future, if only we could see what lies ahead..
But, at the time, you took the leap of faith to come here and marry him, now you need strength to know what to do with your life next.
I guess either way will have advantages... Do you have family in England? Will you be able to work again?
Blessings,

I assume OZ is Australia, although when I first read this I thought
"Wizard of OZ, don't you just have to click your Magic shoes to get there?"
Seriously FF miles are kind of a joke I think, I have some with Delta and they want me to cash them in on Magazine subscriptions..
Good Luck getting to OZ,

In reply, don't see ceri's rose.... I like the one cup at a time approach with the one cup of coffee maker, although I usually brew a big pot and then save some for iced coffee later.
If it's nasty toss it and try again, unless you don't have time and then sweeten it up for the caffine effect.

The sun is shining here, I wish it were raining so the flaming heat rays of the sun were not roasting my brains.
The sun is either shining on one side of the world, while the other side is dark and sleeping. I prefer darkness and coolness.
Even though the sky is cloud covered the sun will be shining behind the clouds. I wish we had clouds today.

Hi Tigre,
I don't think the US government will care what occupation your fiance' has. They are really only concerned that you the sponsor have income coming in and can support the one immigrating. The affidavit of support can really get you stressed I know. I have been there. Basically it is being signed by you, stating that you will pay back any accrued cost's if your "fiance/husband uses Welfare" and you will be responsible for his well being.
He can be a house husband if so choosing.
My hubby enjoyed being house husband until few months ago when he recieved his EAD.. They didn't even care what his occupation was at our interview, they were only concerned that I had the jobs I claimed to have.
good Luck,

See your already a Junior member. I know I came here with lots of stupid questions. I think our experiences are all different anyway. The guides and links are very helpful, but it is nice to hear from a real human being about their experiences and opionions of the Journey.
I know there are people that like to make fun of, maybe for fun rather than meaness, or they are having a bad day. Some times I come on and read some of the posts and questions and want to write something smart "azz" too, just cause I am tired or having a bad day, although in the year and half I have been a member there have been some crazy posts, you just have to wonder are these people for real..
Good Luck and Welcome on board,
Moondancer
