Lot's of advice here!
I feel depressed/blue most of the time. Chemical, situational? I don't know.
Both maybe.. All I can say it's up to you to make the most of it.
Med's may help, I don't know I would never take them cause I feel once I depended on them then I would not be living in reality.
I would say Hang in there with the AOS it will come. You have what you came for at least on the husband side.
If the church you are in now is not supporting you find another... the Pastor got arrested?? Sounds kind of weird.
Write the pros and cons of each problem in a journal. Think about the choices you have to deal with each problem once that is written down, take a deep breath and Breathe.
Do as many fun things as you can, even if it's taking a walk with headphones and good music on...
Good Luck and Bright Blessings,

well you can always try to reestablish some of the old friendships, I know I have people I know I don't know if I consider them friends, but yeah, people I feel friendly toward even though we don't see or talk or write for years, once in a while I get a call out of the blue or an email.
It makes you feel good to get a call or email from someone long ago, catch up on old times, review the present and then maybe it's another year or so until you talk again.
I google old friends and email, they email back and then I say "So long for another couple years.

What is your occupation? Believe me childcare will always be hiring....

Yep and Tucson is turning into the rainforest.
We have had a lot of rain since July 4.
It poured again today.
Mosquitos are terrible and humidity. Waiting for it to dry out..

Hi Becca,
What a loser at the person who posts rude comments. We are here to encourage each other and lift each other up..
No one said this ride would be easy.
I am sorry to hear your hubby doesn't have his green card yet due to a name check..
What's up with that?
I know I spend a lot of time on this machine too to keep my sanity and I feel down alot cause things didn't work out the way we totally planned either, but that is bound to happen.
Life is not perfect and there are so many times I feel like I wish I could just do some crystal ball magic and see what's next.
One day at a time...
Hugs,

Anton's English has become so good now he hardly has an accent or at least not to me.
It was funny when he first arrived here he said he had bought some chicken tights... I thought he was talking about nylons...
He meant chicken thighs...

This was one of the greatest days of my life. Getting my ring at the Calgary Tower. His jeweler friend Matt
Praire designed it. 3 small diamonds in a white gold band. He also designed the gold bands which are plan.
I actually bought a small white gold band to go with the engagement ring after we got married, because the Gold band was too big for my finger and didn't look good with the engagement ring.

well that just sucks. what do the cops do now?
Dunkin Donuts is making a come back now!!! Saw a bunch of cop cars over there on Friday morning.

At 2 Pm Thursday the Krispie Kreame Crew were told to stop what they were doing and "everybody punch out".
Most of the doughnuts were thrown away. A rack with more than eight dozen doughnuts was wheeled outside to be left to whomever passed by for a freebie.
The local Francishe owner Rigel Corp filed bankruptcy on Weds. leaving dozen of employees without paychecks or work.
Before the first Tucson store you had to drive two hours to Tempe to get a Krispie Kreme Dougnut.
When the first Tucson store opened at 5 am on Dec. 03, 2002, 500 people stood in line for a taste of the decadent doughnut. The El Con store opened a few months later.
Sales were up at $21 a share and later to $105 a share.
The company opened 400 stores across the US and as far away as Australia.
On Friday shares were at $8.89.
11 locatations in AZ and New Mexico suddenly closed. Rigel's assests and debt to be in the $10 million to $50million range. A tally of the companies debt shows $8.6 million.
Calls on Friday to the companies lawyer in PHX were not returned.
Employees said they had no notice that the stores were going to close and were in shock when they were told to leave.
One employee said "I took 5 Doz donuts home with me".
Another employee said he does not know where he will find another job that pays $11.50 an hour.
Remember in Tucson we eat sunshine not donuts.

Congratulations on your marriage.
As far as bank statements, I did not turn in new bank statements with our AOS paper work although I did turn in 3 years of tax information for 03,04,05.
Is your wife using your surname legally?
I know I was the one needing to change my name and being the US Citizen would have had to change passport, driver's license, and social security card, so being such a hassle I just kept my maiden name.
I think there is a space on the form asking for maiden name/surname...
My husband got his SSN card the first thing he came into the country taking his passport and the K-1 along.
They gave him a temporary one saying not valid without DHS authorization.
Therefore it wasn't proof he could work. Now that he has his green card he will need to get a new card.
He also got his driver's liscense in AZ using his passport and K-1 Visa.
Hope this helps,

Well thanks for the info... Anton doesn't believe me when I tell him this....
What's new? This is one of my pet peeves, he says I will wait and see even though the facts are out there in black and white!
it seems right now like the US residency is more important than the Canadian for him anyway.
He still needs to visit his father for a month or so before the snow sets in for getting the house winterized again for another year.
He can go to the Alberta Consulate and get it from the horse's mouth since he thinks I am full of it...
I guess I am more concerned about Canadian residency and health insurance because I know how hard it is to get it here and how expensive.
I just changed jobs so I am without until Sept. 1 when the new job kicks in.. and I didn't want to COBRA for one month from my old job because that is 1/2 a paycheck.

What's bad first that I feel bummed about....
All the Krispie Kreame Donut Shops closed in Tucson today.
The airlines are a mess, so I really don't think I will want to fly for a long time....
My new job is mediocre.
I have to go to a work training tomorrow all day and it's SAturday.
What's good.....

Thanks for the answers I told him it would not be that easy...
He had a chance to take the Canadian Citizenship test back in April but was here due to AOS not allowing him to travel to Canada.
I guess he can go up there and visit, but he won't be able to work?
He owned his own business and paid taxes as self employed.
