Hey, you! Today's the last day of the Lunar New Year festivities (and also the full moon, woo!) so I thought I'd wish you Happy New Year.

I'm so jealous right now... I'm sure it's more beautiful than Boise is. Eat lots of 水饺 and 小笼包 on my behalf! xD

Is he back in Morocco by now ? Since you not file the adjustment of status paperwork, his lawful presence is governed by the I-94, usually 90 days from port-of-entry date.

The AOS package was sent August 4, receipt date of August 15, biometrics done September 20, 2017. I made an infopass appointment on October 12 at my local office to withdraw the I-864 because I am being scammed for a green card. I submitted a notarized letter to the lady at the window who took the letter, and she said she would make a note in the file that the I-864 had been withdrawn. She said it is up to the National Benefits Center to actually withdraw the I-864 but she saw no reason why they would not do it since I had requested it before the green card was issued.
Today, the status changed to "Request for Initial Evidence was Mailed." The status of the I-131 and EAD has not changed.
Why would they be asking for initial evidence? Why did they not just deny the green card? What could they be asking for? Thanks

I just noticed that my work permit expired, but I do have the green card. So do I still need to renew it?

Somethings messed up . The 'clerk' at the window not really do the right thing.
So, go back with a new letter, a new withdrawal letter, and drop it in the drop box. Address it to 'Floor Supervisor', subject I-864 withdrawal, immediate action required'no appointment needed. You know what to write in the withdrawal letter, yes?

Oh my god

eh - don't stress about it ? you have some choices: 1] ask the consulate to delay both visa apps until april 2007 for the interview if'n the two will fly together or 2] do the k-1 intv on one day, the k-2 intv later in april month, with the medical exams NOT on the same day, mom flies first, child flies later.

Hello Darnell, you are back!
-
The evidence you have is good, but you need to write up 1] letter of attestation and 2] letter explaining the evidence timelines and timetic.ks. include both with the evidence pack. For USCIS? get appointment at local office, ask to see the FDNSr

How can I pay I-130 fee USCIS Mexico City when DHL courier petition?

you can pull / withdraw the I-864 NOW and she will not be issued a green card - as without an I-864 and a primary sponsor (you) - she cannot receive a green card. So, do that this week, mail off to same address in latest receipt notices.
