First of all, congratulations! You can connect with them, but I highly doubt they'll get back to you. Also, I imagine this means you will receive the Interview Letter very soon, perhaps in the next couple of days. I would give it till the end of the week.

Amazing! Congratulations on the positive outcome and thanks very much for sharing all the details! Question I have for you and the rest of the folks here: why would the officer say he "plans to approve later that day or that week"? Isn't the approval instant? Wouldn't he say "I have approved your visa"?

There is someone in the tracker sheet by the ID "longtimelurker". I don't seem to be able to tag them here, but looks like they would have had their interview yesterday (Oct 21st). Would you be able to please share your experience and outcome if you see this?

The emails are being sent from the NVC, so as long as your case is still at NVC, you'll automatically receive the email. Depends on the timing I guess, you may receive the email, and then your case may be sent to the consulate 2 days or 2 weeks after.

Question for anyone who's used the congressman contact route. My case is EB2-NIW. I don't have a sponsor in the US, nor a job, etc. How would I initiate such inquiry? I'm in Canada and don't reside in the US, nor do I have a "state" where I can find a congressman for.

Hi all, I am still waiting to receive the IL, perhaps in the next batch or two. Wondering about where you would see the status updates / changes. When I log into CEAC, this is the page I see. Would I see the changes (e.g., Ready, Approved, Refused, etc.) on this page? Or should I look elsewhere?
