  1. I believe some doctors (or all) accept receiving the first dose of vaccines that require more than one dose. So, perhaps getting thr first dose of what's needed before going to the doctor is a good idea.
  2. See this list: https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/Supplements/Supplements_by_Post/MTL-Montreal.html
  3. Some doctors can administer the vaccines that you need in their office, during the appointment. If you don't have any immunization record, I guess you will end up with a sore arm!
  4. You will need to bring your Interview Letter to the medical exam appointment. So, no.
  5. Ah, nice update. Sounds like they heard me complaining about lack of updates LOL
  6. Montreal has updated the website, it now shows the page was updated on April 18th, but the information seems to be outdated. It still shows they are reviewing DQ dates in July 2022, which according to what we see in this forum, is not accurate.
  7. Hi @TheMaverick, can you please let me know if there is an expiry date on the visa they issue in your passport? I.e., when you receive your visa, how long do you have for entering the US? Thank you!
  8. Sorry, I responded to @Froozion and @Texasbound1 too early. I see your responses now. Thanks for the info, looks like I will need new RCMP ones. Still not sure about the home country. I think there is no point in getting new ones from them (i.e. through their embassy in Canada).
  9. Thank you! I have all of that. My confusion is about: 1- I have a very old police certificate from my home country, which I have not visited since I left (around 20 years ago) - so would I need a renewed one? I thiink they mention if you have not visited, no need for a new one. But I dont want to get an AP because they ask for something that I dont bring there. 2- I have the RCMP one (which I submitted along with my I-140). Do we need new ones when the time comes for the interviews? I am asking this because @TheMaverick mentioned they had new and old certificates, and given the time that will pass before we get the IL, my RCMP ones may expire?
  10. Wow, this is a lot of great details, thanks for sharing and glad it all went well for you! Question : can you please elaborate on the Police Certificates? Why did you have more than one (a new and old ones)? What about the one from your home country? Was that an old one? How long ago did you leave your home country? What I am trying to get at is how recent should your departure from your home country be for you to need a police certificate from the home country? What if it goes back to 20 years ago?
  11. Great news! Congrats! Nice to see December DQ dates being invited, since their website still says July 2022. I don't think EB2-NIW is treated differently than EB2.
  12. Maybe you are correct - but if it was an automatic update based on someone logging in, why does it show Feb 27th, all of a sudden on March 27th? To me it looks like they have not updated the dates, but just updated the date on top of the page, and didn't even do that properly
  13. So, they have updated the website on March 27th 2024 and it shows that EB is still on July 2022. Well, they updated the page on March 27th and it says it was updated on February 27th! So much for accuracy! Anyway, no new movement in timelines.
  14. I tend to say the latter. It is odd to imagine they have stopped all ILs for this category since May. I don't think everyone who applies needs to be necessarily a member of VJ. That being said, it is also strange that NO one on VJ has received ILs since May. Not even 1 applicant? Perhaps they didn't bother to update the sheet or this thread?
  15. Please see this link: you need to pull monthly status and look at EB1 - it's there: https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/legal/visa-law0/visa-statistics/immigrant-visa-statistics/monthly-immigrant-visa-issuances.html
  16. Updated my historical analysis charts. A huge uptick in the rest of the world (Rio, Bogota and Seoul leading).
  17. This is odd. The dates are back again to April 2022 (as of Nov 3rd 2023), but your DQ dates is June 2021 and you have not received the IL.
  18. Can you please let me know what's the 60 day email? BTW, I just got DQ'd today...
  19. Processing time as in "hoe long it takes to DQ after receiving the documents"?
  20. Congratulations! My case is EB2, documents mailed on September 29th and haven't heard anything yet!
  21. Ok, so I know I am at the end of this queue, since my case is not even DQ'd yet. But I am getting very confused and disappointed. The newest issue is the "case review" timelines by NVC (which I am monitoring to see when I will get DQ'd). Just yesterday, it said as of October 10, they were reviewing cases received on October 3rd (1 week behind). Today, it says as of October 16th, they are reviewing cases received on August 17th!! So they went back by 2 months??? This is the same as what they have done with the consular updates (back to Jan 2021 from April 2022).
  22. Ah, frustrating. NVC seems to be just about copy paste template answers
