Hi all, I was refused and put in Administrative Processing. Here is the timeline after the interview. My question is if all these updates to my case during a short period of time seem normal, or could indicate anything (positive or negative): Jan 10, 2025: Interview - refused and put in AP Jan 11, 2025: I sent the documents requested in the AP letter (resume, etc.) Jan 13, 2025: case updated Jan 20, 2025: I sent an email asking them if they could confirm that they had sent my AP documents to relevant departments - I received no response Jan 24, 2025: case updated (maybe as a result of my email , someone looked at my case? Jan 27, 2025: case updated (unsolicited - why?) Jan 29, 2025: case updated (unsolicited - why?) If it was a few months after my interview, I would say maybe my AP is done. But in just 2 weeks after the interview, I am not sure why there are few updates to my case. Thoughts?

The newest Executive Order from the US administration, mentions: identify all resources that may be used to ensure that all aliens seeking admission to the United States, or who are already in the United States, are vetted and screened to the maximum degree possible; This to me means possible longer AP times...

Correct, that's why I anticipated it, and that's why I had received the link to DS-5535 with my interview letter and that's why the letter the officer gave me was already printed with my name on it

The letter says "list of...". So I sent them just the list...

Yeah I had my updated resume with me during the interview. The officer reviewed it and asked some questions, and then gave it back and asked me to submit my softcopy resume via email so he could send for AP.

So, I completed my interview yesterday (Jan 10, 2025) and as expected, I am not put in the Administrative Processing (perhaps due to both country of birth and field of work). The whole process took 2.5 hours from start to finish. Everyone was nice. The status shows "refused" now and I was asked to email my resume, list of publications, etc. (I have already completed the form DS-5535, which was sent to me along with my interview letter). Once they receive my email with resume, they will go ahead and submit the entire package for Administrative Processing. Then the endless wait begins Where is the AP timeline sheet so I can update my timeline? I hope to be able to see how long everyone's AP has taken. Good luck to you all!

I got the same email, but addressed to my spouse (not the main applicant). It is Dear lastname firstname. It should not matter in my opinion. They seem to have been sending these to one of the family members (chosen randomly?)

You may want to check with your kid's doctor/ pediatrician. They may have the vaccine to administer.

All I had seen, before my own case, was that they would send it during or right after the interview. That is all I had heard from others. Now, fast forward to my own interview, I received the link to the form in the same email as my interview letter. Which is technically over 1.5 months before the interview date! Someone else also confirmed they received the link to the DS5535 in the same email (at the time of interview letter).
