    I was DQed in July 2023, but my priority date only became current this year in late January 2024. Then received the very first sixty-day reminder email from NVC in January 2024. Called the consulate last week, the operator said they do not have any update and only NVC can update me through email

    No mate. Its been 3 months since PD become current, but no IL sent yet. I ve got the second 60 days reminder email from the NVC.

    I have received the first 60 days reminder emails after my priority date became current this month. But I got DQed mid last year and they mention the DQ date in the email. Not sure how it works.

    Congrats. Which visa category is yours? I am waiting on EB2 which requires the priority date on visa bulletin to become and remain current for a visa interview

    Thanks kindly for pointing this out. I am waiting for an EB2 visa interview. PD will be current for January 2024 visa bulletin. Keeping my fingers crossed for the interview date

    Any thought on the October 2023 visa bulletin? Applicants who are going to file adjustment of status can apply if priority date is before Jan 01 2023. On the other hand people applying for consular processing need to have a priority date before July 08 2023, and they will also be facing consular backlog if there are any.
