Hello! IR1 case here. We were DQ'd on Dec 5, 2022 and are still awaiting an interview date. A guy in the thread above said he was DQ'd in mid-October 2022 and heard about his interview date in early Feb 2023. The interviews appear to be taking place about 5 weeks after you hear from them about it. We estimate we'll have our interview at the earliest in April and latest in May so since you're about 2 months behind this timeline you can likely expect June or July for an interview date. If you're not in it already, join the K-1 and CR-1 VISA Process for Aussies group on Facebook. He also gave me this tip and it's been very helpful in trying to suss out when you might be hearing about your interview date. And I have no clue about the priority date but what you suggested sounds right. Hope this helps!

I'm not sure about the K-1 visa (I'm going for the IR-1) but for us, we needed to submit the police check as part of our documents that needed review and approval first, then they tell you the docs are approved and inform you the next step will be an email giving you the interview date. We got our email validating that we had all documents and the next step is the interview in December 2022 and are now waiting for that interview email.

Hello! I'm in the stage of having my DQ but waiting for an interview from Sydney Consulate. I'm just wondering if anyone who has recently received an interview letter can tell me how far out the interview date is from when you received the letter?? Thanks in advance.
