  1. not a separate I-130 because i was told he did not need a separate one, only needed to be listed on her application, he is only 4 years old

  2. Okay thanks but they only have my wife listed at NVC, not her son who is coming with her,I listed him on her application, so how to add him a DS-260 other than wait and see if they create one for him.

    Thanks

  3. The website is confusing, do I need to fill out a separate DS-260 for my wife's 4 year old son? He is listed as coming on the I-130, but NVC page about children is confusing.

Thanks for any help in advance

  4. After reading your blue slip, I would wait awhile and see what they say. It says they will contact you and needs further processing. many people are experiencing what you are going through right now in Vietnam, Many people are having second interviews and asked to wait more time. I know it is difficult but you will get through it and will prevail. My guess is what happened in Texas last May is creating extra paperwork for everyone, but is just a guess.

What does the CEAC site say?

    Good luck to you

  5. I have tried close to 200 times already over 4 days now but only get the automated reply, and ends in all out customer service reps are busy and to try again, then get automatically disconnected.Very frustrating actually. I have tried early morning to almost midnight to no avail.

My hope is they actually mail me the paperwork at this rate to get a case number.

Thanks for any advice in advance

  6. I am CR-1, so after NOA2, the paperwork is sent from the processing center to NVC in New Hampshire, for further processing. The documents are uploaded via email for them and I have more fees to pay, you are a K-1 visa so you have a little different process.

    Good Luck

  7. My wife is not sure which police certificate to get, the local one from the police station next to her house

Or the Judicial one which is from the county seat of her province, the Judicial one shows no criminal background.

Thanks for any help or advice in advance

  8. Are the police certificate and birth certificates of my wife and son needed for submission to NVC?

We have just gotten notice that she received NOA2 and I assembling the documents to send to NVC after I pay the bill.

I know we are still a couple of weeks away but need time to gather all things.

Thanks in advance for any advice or help.

  9. You will have a police certificate, you can get a copy of it, that is evidence of you living there, I am surprised no numbers for street address,my wife village has a house number for address,

and its a small village, we pay cash for a lot of things but always asked for a receipt, have bus ticket coupons,if we used grab for a taxi ride, got the receipt off the phone, you should of had receipts for the medical and such and for applying for marriage license, all this is evidence, this is what i provided plus we had 2300 pages double printed of viber chats.

    I wish you good luck

I am curious the process that needs to be done.

I am US Citizen, she is Vietnamese, we will file for CR-1 visa when I return to USA
