I agree even in the processing time it is showing some months left so hopefully that means something. Do you see a processing time on yours? 

Agreed. His very first statement threw me off: "A family member came to the US with pure intentions of being married to a woman". Not clear whether it was any woman with the intention of getting a GC, and that's why it is titled as "fraud", or this woman in particular. Agree with you, strange to date someone and not know about mental health issues... Need more clarification!

I am not understanding the issue.  If he actually dated his wife and had more interaction with his wife, he would have known her mental health diagnosis.  She would have been comfortable enough in their relationship to tell him.  Fraud does not pertain to mental health illness.  

A student visa will work.  Just examine your priorities and make your own decisions about his educational goals.  If he wants to go to school in Canada for a year and a half, you can delay the visa interview until less than six months from the end of his studies.  The visa is good for six months.

We submitted pictures together, boarding passes, some examples of chat messages, Facebook posts of when we were together, also with other people. Those types of things. 

😁 The biggest benefit would be the ease of visiting. The flights back and forth from Nigeria to the US do take a toll.

Tell him to go study   It will make it far easier for you to visit, further strengthening your case of a bonafide relationship and as long as his studies are legitimate, it will help him find work in the US once he is able to join you.  Chancy made an excellent point about gathering his civil documents prior to arriving in Canada.  

I did not think about that I will tell him to do this especially the police character certificate.

So sorry for the mix up he is in nigeria waiting to come to the US. But wanted to apply for a student permit to go to school in Canada
