  1. Are you a US citizen? If yes, you can't register this case under your existing USCIS account. Your immigrant spouse should create their own account and add the case there with their information such as DOB, because N-400 is their case.
  2. I'm more than sure people had their ceremonies cancelled / postponed due to weather. Nobody has crystal ball to know for sure whether they'll go ahead with the ceremony or not. Good luck and keep us posted!
  3. I'm not 100% sure OP is married to US citizen from messages so far?
  4. Thank you for the update and congratulations on approval ! Nowadays approvals take 16-17 months, and your case is a good indication of that.
  5. Election cycle is over, I think it's not longer realistic to expect approvals within 6 months of filing. There's also hiring freeze and potentially change of priorities (dealing with undocumented immigrants) for USCIS.
  6. Yes, this is the only real reason to check in online. As I mentioned to OP, if seat is purchased and known, there's no big incentive to check in online. Some companies though (I think United), as for photos of documents to complete online check in. Extension letter isn't recognized. Expired GC recognized as expired doc. So you have to see a human. At least this was my experience in 2023 and 2024
  7. Thank you for sharing. Things might have changed since October 2022 though
  8. Exactly, none of the estimates are accurate.
  9. You can read existing threads here: All of this was discussed in depth several times. If you have any more questions after reading those threads let us know Good luck!
  10. She cannot do that. Visas take over 6 months to get approved and tourist visa only allows up to 6 months inside the US.
  11. The immigrant being sponsored is the 4th member of household for size calculation
  12. Just like with stock market, past performance doesn't guarantee the future returns, in this case processing times. There's hiring freeze for federal employees in place. I'm not sure how USCIS is going to keep up with older processing time with potentially fewer staff.
  13. Are you a US citizen? Is your husband on ESTA / tourist visa?
  14. I didn't try as I was worried. But others did with no issue.
  15. It takes about 16 months nowadays. So you're getting close to decision hopefuly. Few more months.
  16. Tell civil surgeon during exam and they'll know what to do. If you had chicken pox, you won't need vaccine.
  17. It is. The data is publicly accessible by anyone.
  18. You circled entries for people who filed during election year. With election year over and new administration, it's likely new cases will take longer.
  19. No way to accelerate. There is no visa available yet. For many years.
  20. Is this for online check in on international flight? If you have assigned seat, you don't gain much with online check in, as you need to show original documents at check in desk anyway. I could never get it to work while on extension letter and had go show at the airport early.
  21. No. But IO may ask for 2024 taxes considering how close the interview is to April 15 deadline.
