  1. I heard WoM is pretty ineffective for visitor visas.
  2. ESTA won't be approved 99.9%. You need to list all citizenships when applying for ESTA. The moment they see you're the same guy in admin processing, ESTA will be denied. The country of origin and security risks associated with it. Don't waste your time on ESTA.
  3. Sounds like a weak plan. I don't think change of status would work in the US. I don't think B2 is going to be issued overseas either
  4. Are you a petitioner or beneficiary? Where are you in the process?
  5. What's holding you up completing this year's taxes?
  6. The VJ rules precede Trump by few decades. AFAIK, these rules almost never change here regardless of administration in the house.
  7. I'd be ready for 12-16 months. That's step 1. Then interview will take sime time to get.
  8. December 2024 filers stats as of 02/24/2025 @ 9:10 PM ET: Approved: 607 Denied: 4 Fingerprints Scheduled: 560 Interview Cancelled: 89 Interview Scheduled: 7940 Pending: 4 Processing: 18628 Received: 30 ResponseToRFE: 6 RFE: 51 Terminated: 2 Withdrawal: 11 OathCeremonyNotice: 314 OathCeremonyScheduled: 288 OathCeremonyReady: 1
  9. Pretty normal. There's ~13500 cases like yours on November filers. Only about ~2400 filers were approved.
  10. Yes, that's exactly what they're looking for...
  11. Was it delivered? Or was it rejected? Or you mean case is refused? If refused, when was certificate delivered and when was the case refused?
  12. Ok, so did the petitioner get a certified copy from court in the US? I assume divorce was filed and finished in the US. Or was it an overseas divorce ?
  13. I can imagine it's always been like that. A lot of it has to do with USPS and how quickly physical mail travels!
  14. Whose divorce decree was required? Petitioner's or beneficiary's?
  15. I'd think quite the opposite, but @pushbrk can confirm. If it was indeed a paid service, we'd be checking and replying to private messages. However, the point of VJ is to spread knowledge. Somebody else in your situation may be struggling, and can learn from this thread. Private messages do not allow it.
  16. You may not be aware, but any messages, with or without attachments fill VJ limited private message mailboxes very quickly, especially for active and respectable members like @pushbrk
  17. Yep, it's a hit or miss. I assume you never got any emails when case was accepted?
  18. No need to redo I-864, but make sure to address all outlined and potential issues of RFE and include the RFE letter in response.
  19. I don't think this is the case. People's income change for better or worse over time. Employment and income and not requirements for N-400. But I agree, unless really need fee reduction it's best not to use it. Why? Because USCIS is fee funded. By using fee reduction, USCIS will have fewer resources to adjudicate other cases. Also, for OP, case may go slower. Anything atypical causes cases to slow down. Also, this means paper filing with slower time to get N-400 NOA.
  20. I see around 20% of cases filed in August 2024 are still pending. Generally, anything under 12 months can be considered within normal processing time...
  21. Try checking few times a day. Check right after midnight in your timezone too.
  22. Wow those lucky 163 filers who got approved! They won the lottery really. That's less than 1% of November 2024 filers.
