    No. Do you have valid DL / ID and unrestricted SS card? That's all you need for I-9 verification.

    I wouldn't personally apply under 3 year rule, it's a harder route compared to 5 year rule one. - When exactly were you back in the US in 2020? - Is your spouse a US citizen? - Has your spouse been a citizen for over 3 years? - Are you married to your spouse for over 3 years? - Did you live together for 3+ years without breaks?

    You can be unhappy with that, but as you can see, in reality it is what is. Good luck with the search! US medical system is very expensive.

    That's a fair price to be honest. I did my exam in 2019 and it was around this price. It's great you can still find somebody willing to do the exam for this price, considering inflation in the last 5 years. Just do it. Whoever does it for $150 is a rarity. They may not do it correctly, which will cost you more in the end (delays, RFEs and potentially another exam).

    That's strange. I never heard of this requirement. And never faced it. Not every year. When switching jobs - yes. When document expires - yes.

    @ilikepotatoes you can absolutely switch jobs during I-751. I switched mine without any issue. Just use DL + unrestricted SS card as @D-R-J suggested.

    What's 1-90? From OP's message it's not clear whether attorney gave advice not to file I-751. Likely they said something along the lines "Don't worry about 10 year GC incorrectly issued. Just file I-90". But nothing got mentioned about I-751 and OP neglected it.

    I don't believe so. Even if you somehow could verify it's valid it doesn't guarantee an entry.

    @Rosa Garcia has a very complex and twisted case. From what I remember she had I-751 denied due to fraud accusations

    You cannot file I-485 until you give up LPR status! But why would you give it up, if you're already a GC holder and have I-751 on file?

    That's true, but I doubt USCIS will squeeze in a walk in N-400. If I was presented with that option, I'd be hesitant to accept. IO can be in a bad mood to have a random interview arranged. The best they can offer is to reschedule IMHO.

    It's gonna be yes. You filed petition and it got approved. The answer couldn't be easier. Everything else is stretching the truth. The question asks whether anybody ever filed an immigrant petition for your mom. You did.

    I'm sorry about your father. You likely need to reschedule your N-400 interview. If somehow USCIS approves your citizenship today (I doubt it), you'd have to get US passport to travel.

    @TheCat66 time to consider proposing to your GF, marrying and going CR-1 visa route? It seems like you guys want to be together and she's stretching the limits of non-immigrant visas? I don't know how she would deal with unauthorized work in the US, this could be an issue for sure.

    The problem with "fast" service center is... When submitted I-751 at WAC, the processing time was 7 months, then went all the way up to 14 or something. I ended up getting petition approved in 20.5 months. It's not completely random, even if it seems. My friend who submitted I-751 two weeks later after me got it approved 4-5 months earlier than me. At that time all the cases around his were being processed. All the cases around mine were skipped for few months. Hard to tell what happened, but I think that's how USCIS tried "improving" processing times?

    She needs to have supporting evidence showing something very bad happened to her in the past and will likely happen again if she stays in Mexico. Something of a magnitude such as: rape, physical violence, imprisonment... Otherwise, she should not file for asylum.

    Same here, never out of status, always followed the rules. Not even traffic / speeding tickets. But will bring the lawyer and pay them $4000 for the piece of mind and not to be humiliated at the interview. After all, there's a lot at stake and it's the very last interview in immigration journey. Once again, congrats!

    You're overthinking. Submit everything including statements you had before and what you have now.
