  1. Same here, I was never able to update expiration when I was on conditional green card. Tried walking to enrollment center twice, and both times they refused to do anything. Didn't dare just updating date online, but now I see people reporting doesn't work. Few times facial recognition worked at Global Entry kiosks, many other times I had to see a person. Still saved me time compared to regular line.
  2. Typically you need to go through entire medical exam and civil surgeon will have to sign forms for USCIS. What is medical exemption letter? As far as I'm aware a private doctor cannot make any determinations about exams for USCIS, simply doesn't have an authority for that.
  3. Keep us updated. Looks like left hand doesn't know about what the right hand doing. Attaching copy of I-751 receipt when filing N-400 theoretically reduces the chances of your scenario with two interviews happening.
  4. The acronym "ARC" stands for "Alien Registration Card" (also called Permanent Resident Card or Green Card.) That stamp in your passport means you were readmitted into the country on your ARC as an "LPR" (Lawful US Permanent Resident.)
  5. The level of effort / cost may be too much to pursue visitor's visa. Agreed, it's time to explore other great places.
  6. You broke continuous residency by staying outside the US for over 6 months. You'll have to wait for 3 years again. You can file 90 days early.
  7. If you're confident in your persuasion skills, you can bring passport and marriage certificate to explain the name difference.
  8. Another week or two before starting to worry. Then you can file https://egov.uscis.gov/e-request/displayNDNForm.do; jsessionid=08E5FD1FD9BC*****************6F3?sroPageType=ndn&entryPoint=init
  9. Did you attach copy of I-751 receipt when applying for N-400?
  10. Her status doesn't expire, just a proof of status (GC) would have expired. But since you have extension letter, she has proof of status until 2028 😊
  11. Did you moce after filing? USCIS sent 48 month extension letters to everybody with pending I-751. If you moved and never received one, you may have a problem. You can request replacement here https://egov.uscis.gov/e-request/displayNDNForm.do?sroPageType=ndn&entryPoint=init You can also schedule InfoPass appointment and get a I-551 stamp. Any plans applying for citizenship?
  12. This is just a glitch in USCIS system. If you read VJ, you'll see many people are experiencing the same.
  13. Wait for packet to be returned to you and resubmit with correct payment.
  14. If you are out of status, you can be theoretically detained by ICE. But in reality, if you refile AOS you'll most likely be OK.
  15. Are you adjusting based on marriage to US citizen?
  16. Only federal tax return transcripts from IRS website
  17. 84 GBP for 12 months. That's good to know the option is available. https://www.royalmail.com/redirections/new/quote
  18. I don't believe UK would forward mail to another country... This would be too expensive to implement.
  19. I'm pretty sure what they're interested in is your GC, original extension letter and notice you received for biometrics. This is not a legal advice though
  20. Everybody removing conditions is already a permanent resident 😅
  21. You just give address to a sender and they send you mail. I think I'm starting to understand your question... You wonder how to become a resident and get a green card? It's not automatic. How did you enter? How long ago? Were you on visa (which one) or Esta?
