  1. Can you please share a link? I think what it means, bring expired passport with valid visa + new passport. 2nd passport is of no use TBH. I'm not aware of people carrying all of their expired passports they ever used to travel to the US.
  2. You need a valid passport that is passport 3. You also need a visa, which is in passport 1. Passport 2 is irrelevant in my humble opinion, but you can carry it. I don't see a problem, why do you think there would be?
  3. EAD and AP is not the same as visa or green card.

  5. This is a question to Turkish authorities
  6. Contacting Us: If you have been waiting more than four weeks for your documents, call us at 1-877-487-2778 to report that you have not received your documents. If you want us to reimburse you for a lost supporting document, you must contact us within 90 days of the date which we mailed your passport. You will also need to provide a receipt to show the cost of replacing the document. Source: https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/passports/passport-help/faqs.html/
  7. Oh I'm sure we have similar recommendations 😃 Ever get those folks trying to sell Carribean citizenships? 😃
  8. Realistically, even Real ID (driver's license or state ID). I never used GC to fly domestically. Only DL for TSA.
  9. I thought this video was very educational and informative.
  10. Week 3 after passport was delivered? Or week 3 after sending cerficate? If first, there are instructions who to call when you don't receive it back after some time. If second, you're still under normal processing time, expecially if you didn't pay for expedited service.
  11. Mine said 7 months initially and 3 weeks until decision on day of my oath. Entire process took about 3.5 months. But I applied under 5 year rule and I-751 was approved a while back. Good luck!
  12. Estimated time showed 3 weeks until decision on the day of my oath. It can be ignored.
  13. Congratulations and good luck at the interview! You filled on 3/3 but when did you file it? 3 or 5 year rule?
  14. If you have access to Informed Delivery, at least you'd know tracking for GC and can argue with USPS if it doesn't arrive. If you don't have tracking, it would be harder to convince them.
  15. You need to reply with detailed explanation citing visa reciprocity website showing how the document matches the criteria.
  16. You received it in 3 days, somebody else in 25. Average is 14 days (two weeks). I'd say 3 days is super fast, an outlier.
  17. Today I got preview of letter from SSA in USPS Informed Delivery. In few days, I suspect, SS card will be delivered in the mail. SSA website now allows me to proceed with replacing SS card online, meaning my record was updated to be US citizen in the system. All and all, it took 7 days from appointment to status getting updated. Finita la comedia!
  18. In my case it took 3 days after passport delivery. Passport arrived first, three days later I got NC back, and next day I received passport card.
  19. ~ Moved to Passports, etc. - What to do now that you are a US citizen as it suits the question better ~
  20. I'd not include any message from that overseas doctor. You don't want to bring suspicion to entire DS-3025 and its validity. You can include incomplete DS-3025, but be ready to do medical ASAP when you receive RFE. There's a risk you may get a denial or NOID right away.
  21. Problems with I-864, yes it's possible if you don't make enough money or minimize it for taxes. In that case you'd also need a joint sponsor. But as @MMRF said, what exact problems are you talking about? We can guess endlessly unless you give us specifics.
  22. Only if his own income isn't enough and spouse volunteers to include her income. Sponsor or joint sponsor completes this section
  23. You are... I assume she's adjusting status from K-1 to LPR (green card holder). This is known as Adjustment of Status.
  24. Bad idea. You don't want to be accused of fraud and document forgery. I'd just do a proper I-693 exam with all boxes checked by a civil surgeon in the US. Does it cost extra money? Yes. Does it make your journey much easier and keeps you out of trouble? Yes.
  25. This is not a new thing. Majority of travellers don't have their phones searched. But yes, it's possible.
