  1. Hi @chrisbonatto! In the very same day that I received the IL I reached out to the physician at Brasilia since it's the closest from where I live. They quickly replied asking for me to fill out some forms and then scheduled our appointment to January 18th (a little less than a month to the interview). They were also very helpful answering our questions regarding the vaccination requirements ahead of the consultation.
  2. Thanks @Surulere! I'm sure that tour IL is about to arrive, and 2023 os going to be a wonderful year. The CEAC status has chances to "in transit". I'll keep you updated!
  3. Thanks everybody! I'll keep you updated. Hopefully your IL will take less to arrive than mine. Let's keep our hopes high, 2023 will be a wonderful year.
  4. Hi @Surulere! I'm happy to share with you that we received our IL today! The interview will take place february 15th. 🥳
  5. Hi everybody! I'm happy to share with you that we received our IL this morning - the interview will take place at february 15th. 🥳
  6. Hi @chrisbonatto thanks for your kind words. Well, to be honest, I'm trying to manage my expectations since my lawyer believes that the IL will probably arrive only on january (because of holidays & etc), but fingers crossed! You mentioned shipment week, do you have any info on which week is most probable to get the interviews scheduled? I've been trying to figure this out for a long time with no success.
  7. Hi @Bodo! Nope, they only asked to send birth / marriage certificates, police certificates, and passports - all copies. But I recommend you to take at look at the following post. As per our friend experience, they asked for employment letters both at the interview as also when entering the US. I don't think that's mandatory, and strongly depends on your case, but just as he said it won't hurt to have them.
  8. Hi @Bodo! Yes, I submitted both the copies and its translations.
  9. Hi @chrisbonatto, glad to see a fellow brazilian around here! Well, unfortunately I haven't heard from them yet. It seems that EB visas issuance pace has slowed down for embassies/consulates in general. It's sad because before mid-september we were seeing ILs to arrive for EBs in less than two months after DQ. Nevertheless, trying to keep the hopes high. I'll let you know if I have any updates, and please share with us any news that you may have. Best of luck for all of us! 🤞
  10. No matter the consulate or embassy, it's notable the slow down on EB progress. I've been turning this forum upside down searching for info about interview letters for EBs on the last couple months and it seems to be a widespread problem. In my case, there are two factors that concerns me a little: my interview will take place at the Rio Consulate (Brazil), and before mid-setember the ILs were rolling out in no longer than two months from DQ. From that point and beyond, I didn't manage to find a single person that received its IL. Intriguingly, that's when the new fiscal year has begun, and that's pretty much the only thing that has changed since than. Just like some of you said I also thought that the holiday season was going to cause delays, but at this point I just don't know what to think anymore.
  11. Hi @Surulere! I hope you're doing well. Any updates? None for me, I'm still waiting.
  12. Wow, sorry to hear that. But luckily you got your interview in a couple weeks. Thanks for all the details you provided! It helps us a lot to have an idea of how long it takes this step of the process.
  13. Hi @Surulere! No updates for me... What about you? Digging arround the forum I've found a user that is scheduled for a january interview at the Rio Consulate, so proabaly you are right about the interviews takign place on 2023. I've also found some users from Canada that had their interviews scheduled for january.
  14. Yes, sure! I mean in general... I've been searching for "interview letter" / etc around here for the last couple weeks and regardless of the outpost I'm not seeing many results.
  15. Hi everybody! Lots of DQs recently around here, glad to see. What about the Interview Letters? Is it just me or in the last couple weeks the pace slowed down?
  16. Hi @Mark and Karina, happy for you! I've been seen people getting their ILs in three weeks or less for IR1/CR1 visas at the Rio Consulate.
  17. Hi @Surulere, did you get that 2 months automatic notification about the case been in line for an interview? Got mine yesterday... When I saw that I had an e-mail from NVC, for a brief moment I thought that it would be the IL, but unfortunatelly it wasn't. 😥
  18. Hi everyone! DQed and waiting for an interview appointment at the Rio Consulate? Gather here! I'm trying to keep track of the time between DQed <> Interview Letter <> Interview so we can make some predictions, specially for the EB visas. My case was created on 07/21, got an RFE on 08/18, and was on DQed 09/19. Now I'm waiting for the IL. Anyone out there on the same boat?
  19. Haha, glad to hear that you found it! Sorry for not posting the link. For the other users that may come across this topic the link is https://visawhen.com/
  20. @JBRE22022 Thank you very much for such a detailed feedback! Happy to know that everything seems to have gone very well. Since my visa is also a NIW, I have to confess that got a little bit worried about the employment letters that you mentioned, specially when entering the country for the first time. My plan is to run my business from the USA, but I'll catch up with my attorney about these details that you shared. Overall, thanks for all of your contribution throughout this process. Wish us luck to NVC get our interviews scheduled this year! 😂
  21. As soon as I read your reply I checked that visawhen website to take a look at the statistics and you're absolutely right. Take a look at the drop on E2 visa issuances at the Rio Consulate: 5 times lower than the month before. 😭 Taking a look at CR1/IR1 visa issuances (for instance) we see no changes in the trend. After all that mess in the limbo between USCIS and NVC, now this!
  22. Sadly no... 😞 I was willing to ask you the same! We're both way past the average predictions considering other members that I used as reference. In fact, we're approaching the 2 months mark. Starting to get worried again...
  23. Hi @Lady Lamb thanks for sharing! It varies from country to country, but I have the feeling that overall the pace is slowing down. A couple posts before I mentioned my theory that this is somehow related to the end of the year its holidays, but it just a guess. The fact is that's really frustating this lack of information of a such sensitive matter. We see our hands tied while waiting for an update, meanwhile there are so many things in our lives depending on this.
