  1. I got this message today and there are 2 problems. The first is NVC sent our case to the wrong embassy despite how I filled out the form. Secondly, it says we received an interview date but I did not see it in the email. The interview date will determine if we have to switch embassies or not since my fiancés student visa is expiring in 2 months. Is anyone able to help with this? Or did anyone else get a similar message but no interview date? Thanks!

  2. Hi all,

My fiancé will have his interview in Panama but we just got our NOA2 on May 27th, 2022. Has anyone gone through the process with the Panamanian embassy recently that can give us any tips or timelines of how long the embassy phase is?

    saludos!

Here are the mid day updates:

    73000: 1 RFES (1 new / 0 in progress)
    74500: 1 RFES (0 new / 1 in progress)
    79000: 1 RFES (1 new / 0 in progress)
    81500: 1 RFES, 1 Denial (2 new / 0 in progress)
    06/06/22: 5 Total Updates: 4 RFESs, 1 Denial

Wonder what is going over there at the USCIS. These last two to three business days have been terrible for updates. I'll start scanning the other months to see if it's the same there.

This is shocking. I’m really hoping they are just now entering the approvals and we will see a large wave come in towards the end of the day. Otherwise this is so grim

Did anyone else notice that the receipt date for inquiry got pushed back a few days? I was just checking now, and I noticed that I can inquiry Aug. 10 (it was Aug. 12 before). It looks like anyone through April 11 can now inquire. I hope this isn't a mistake. If it's not a mistake, then hopefully this is a good sign, even though it's only a few days different. They have to start somewhere...

I saw that. I think it’s artificially decreased because of that huge June chunk they worked on instead of focusing on those waiting already over a year. I’m really afraid it will get pushed back again because so many filers are able to now file inquiries yet it looks like they didn’t do a lot of work in the earlier April groups today. Let’s see what the end of the day numbers look like

Not a great start to the week. Huge amount of RFESs already and not a lot of updates in general. June only has 1 update (RFES).

Also 4 RFESs came in on Saturday for 80000 to 81000 groups.

Wow this is horrendous. I’m very close to giving up and trying to find another option for my fiancé and I to be together

Not seeing much activity on March or June so this seems to be their typical slow day. At least a lot of untouched cases were processed.

I’ve noticed usually not much changes between midday and the end of the day. So what are the doing for the entire rest of the day????

Happy to see March still getting attention, I hope the remaining legit March couples are approved so soon

    Hi All,

Today has been a hectic day. Took my dog to the vet for a check up in some cysts that were growing, as he had previously a serious tumor. Then went to accompany a friend to have his back "fixed". In summary had little time today to check USCIS case tracker. Which I was doing earlier today, when it reached my group, and guess what? There it was, OUR CASE WAS APPROVED TODAY.

I must confess I had an hour of overwhelming joy, where fiancée and I face timed, with both our parents joining. I must say this is a happy day for me and for her, and for many people around us. Only took 399 since submitting the petition and 393 since they received it, but this stage is now done for us.

I will continue checking up and all the people that I care about in this forum and do wish everyone still standing from March (and any other month), including with stats. I must thank this forum and this community for the support in the many rough days that we had.

Thank you so much everyone. Hoping for the best for everyone here.

I AM SO BEYOND HAPPY FOR YOU!! finally! I’ve been rooting for you for months, wow this is amazing news!!

In truth, they won't ever 'abandon' March. There are, after all, still cases from January 2021 outstanding from my last check. USCIS will shift the vast majority of their focus to a new month when approximately 90% of the previous gets done; now that we've hit that with March, it's unsurprising that April is approaching (and sometimes surpasses) March's cases/day.

I recall that when February 2021 filers had less than 300 left, they starting picking up March 2021 in full swing. We're about that time now, and I think the recent numbers reflect that April is becoming priority.

The thing is they aren’t really working in April either. 20 cases a day is a joke! And I haven’t seen anyone approved today in April. They just don’t care about the fiancé visa it seems

  10. 3 hours ago, Edward&Lily said:

My math may be wrong here 🙈 but let’s just say they do 40 total case approvals per day from now on and that’s pushing it (going off this weeks numbers). According to the April excel sheet, there are still 2,624 cases left that have been untouched.

2,624 / 40 approvals per day = 65.6 days. Break that down into working weeks / 5 days = that’s 13.12 weeks to finish April.

At this point I’m thinking they won’t finish April until end of July/beginning of August.

Like many of you have said I am starting to lose hope :( but we can’t, we just have to stay strong as there is nothing else we can do. To avoid disappointment and further heartache, in my mind I am going to start telling myself an approval may not come until June/July time. I’m feeling worse now about it since we are actually in the so-called ‘April Processing Time’ and I’m just hoping and praying everyday to get approved, only to be disappointed. I would rather be realistic than hoping every single day that it may be us, only to be disheartened every time I check the case checker app. 😔

It’s psychological torture what they are doing to us. My mental health has plummeted

Another fairly slow day for April 2021 fliers. I feel like they shifted their focus on finishing up on March.

    69000: 2 Approvals
    71000: 8 Approvals, 4 RFEs
    71500: 1 Approval, 2 RFEs
    72000: 2 Approvals, 1 RFE
    72500: 1 RFE
    73000: 1 Approval, 5 RFEs
    76500: 1 Expedite Denied
    04/20/22: 28 Total Updates: 14 Approvals, 13 RFEs, and 1 Expedite

Of the updates 25 were from untouched cases (Case Received) and 3 were in progress.

    March (37) + April (28) = 65 Total updates.

At this horrible rate it could take another 4 months to get through April. My fear is what happened in March where it took nearly 5 months and it’s still not done. I’ve lost all my hope

Just did an earlier scan and looking pretty good so far for March. Hopefully there will be even more updates by the end of the day.

    58000: 2 Approvals
    58500: 1 Approval
    59000: 3 Approvals, 1 Withdrawal
    62000: 1 Approval
    62500: 1 Approval
    63000: 1 Approval
    63500: 1 Approval
    64500: 1 Approval
    65000: 3 RFEs
    65500: 1 Approval
    66000: 6 Approvals, 2 Denials
    67000: 1 RFE
    68500: 5 Approvals
04/20/22: 30 Total Updates so far: 23 Approvals, 2 Denials, 4 RFEs, and 1 Withdrawal

Are the approvals previously untouched cases or approvals for RFEs?

  13. 44 minutes ago, centric23 said:

I wonder if the amount of RFEs are contributing to the slow April processing times. They would essentially have to look at the application twice (once to send RFE, and once to approve). We've been seeing more RFEs than approvals, so it's like they're taking twice as long to move on.

I can’t believe the have the audacity to send RFEs when we’ve been waiting over a year due to their own incompetence !!!
