Atty was correct in that waiver cannot be submitted prior to interview/finding of inadmissibility/refusal letter w specific sec of law for finding.
 
Keep looking around ..you can try for a cheaper “ evaluation /assessment “ type of consult …maybe even 2 or 3.

Thank you for the thorough info, the link and the vote of confidence.  The American attorney did mention asserting a hardship in the waiver but he did not say it could be submitted prior to the interview so.... this is good stuff. Fortunately, I haven't retained them so I may consider going elsewhere.  Greatly appreciated.

You're doing the right thing.  His DS260 asked about any arrests.  He answered honestly and is providing the needed record.  There will be questions about this and possible complications, but I predict eventual success, if this is the full story.

Well ..MX had a funky criminal justice system as it related to drugs with municipalities and states and federales all involved ..
 
But you really need to have them looked at by US immigration attorney with experience …unless YOU scoured the records and are versed in US law too. ..and are sure both the amount and sentence term will fly as a petty offense exception

In Spanish, for a Consulate in a Spanish speaking country.  No translation needed.

Still no need for translation. Consular Officers in Juarez are fluent in Spanish.  No Spanish Language document needs translation for Juarez.  PERIOD.  They will understand the "legalese" much better in the original language.  If (probably) it needs to be fully analyzed, it will go to an actual "lawyer" who reviews such things as needed, who is an actual assigned employee of the Consulate, and fully prepared to deal with Spanish "legalese".

Side note, I spent a few hours in the actual home of the General Counsel for the Guangzhou Consulate a few years ago.  They are fully prepared to deal with such things.

I did a quick look at OP previous post and realized the “ 72 page “ document is  MX Criminal Record of beneficiary. ..so good and accurate translation ( Lots of Legalese ) is warranted AND a consult with a US immigration attorney to look over in case of inadmissibility issues 
 

agreed. MX primary language is Spanish so it makes no sense that they would need anything translated from Spanish.  I just wanted to answer if they need a professional to translate docs, which they don't and can save money. 

The red section is to be read in conjunction with the upper section. Crazy Cat is correct .. if the document is in Spanish it does not need an english translation 

It needs to be translated by someone fluent in both languages and signs an attestation confirming.  If you or someone you know qualifies then they can do it.
 
However, nothing in Spanish requires a translation for an interview in Mexico

Don't waste your money.  It does NOT have to be translated since it is in Spanish.  The red text applies to ALL civil documents.  Believe me, you are not the first person to ask this question.

My wife lives in the CDMX and requesting IR1.
The instructions to get the Federal PC ask you to have a "Solicitud fundada y motivada, por las diferentes autoridades administrativas, judiciales, seguridad pública y privada, así como, embajada y consulado o que resulte necesaria para ejercitar un derecho o cumplir un deber legalmente previsto, con la finalidad de emitir la Constancia de Antecedentes Penales."
 
The US immigration is requesting this the Federal PC but I do not see how the US Gov will give me an official letter to request the Federal PC or how the mexican agency will accept it. 
Where do we get this letter ?
Do I use the I-797C Approval Notice ?
 
Can anyone confirm that using the one from https://noantecedentes.cdmx.gob.mx/ . has been accepted ?

Guys, just to update everyone: I had my interview yesterday, I brought my printed "Constancia Digital de No Antecedentes Penales" and they accepted it without a problem
 

I would say it's a digital version of the document since it is actually called "Digital Police Record". It is digitally signed and has a QR code.  

My husband has his police certificate which lists an arrest 12 years ago with the outcome ( paying a fine ) does he also need to bring the court record in regards to this? I was told it may be helpful , it is it mandatory ? Our interview is coming up real soon and we may not have rind to get a copy of his court record. I’ve never seen anything specifically list a certificate and court record . appreciate any input

Right.  800 days from when I filed the i130. But 10 months from when we DQ'd.
