Hi guys, I’m new to this platform and it’s really been helpful. I filed for 360/485/765/131, all in Jan 29 2021. Receipt notice came Feb 12, 2021
i got my 765 approval in July and also received the card on July 22, 2021. But my 131 was denied, found out from my lawyer that the reason is because I was in removal proceedings which I didn’t know about! Master hearing was for Oct 2021 but it got postponed since the courts were closed because of Covid. New master hearing date is Feb 2025!!(don’t know if it’s a good thing)
My lawyer is all about the money and she painted my scenario to be a terrible one, most likely to get more money from me(billed me crazy to represent me in court for the master hearing).
while trying to find info online, I found this group and it’s been really helpful and see I’m not alone in the struggle. 
I know it’s still a while till my vawa approval but my question is about the removal proceedings. since my packet was submitted to Vermont,
1) do I need to file a 485 to the court since I’m in removal proceedings? 
2)since my master hearing is in 2025, does that mean I have to wait till then before they start to work on my 485
3)I saw a video posted by @God is a good God
about DHS/USCIS trying to reduce the backlog in immigration court by taking removal proceedings cases with pending AOS And dismissing them. Which cases qualify and do we need to fill out any application? 
Anyone in similar situation and timeline? Need some word of encouragement, Feel exhausted!!!!

I wanted to ask what the "new card being produced" meant on my I360 update.
I've already received my EAD just recently (December 2021), so I'm not quite sure what this is for.. for reference, my case history is below. Any leads for what this may be would really be helpful for me ❤️
 
 

no template. click on link and read criteria, tailor your letter to Vermont explaining how you meet one or more criteria. feel free to get creative. send whatever proof/documents that you have to show that you meet the expedite criteria. I did this back in May 2020 for EAD, got expedited in 2 weeks.

Mine noid was 7 pages. The officer checked even DS-160 from the embassy, he even checked my brothers and sisters ds-160 file when they went to get non immigrant visa. It was awful. Asked me a bunch of documents and explanations of misrepresentation, dates differences,…. But the secret is that write a good personal declaration and have your lawyer edit it. Explain from how you met, courtship, marriage , abuses,… Explain point by point in your personal declaration (mine went to 30 pages and my lawyer edited it to 21 pages). Explain everything into paragraph and nomber your paragraph from 1. …2….to even 70th paragraph and get detailed notorized letters from friends and families explaining how they know you and the experience they had for your marriage. And try to get proof of everything they mentioned in your noid or rfe. It will be ok 

Do not marry now, this will assume you are marrying for green card and your i360 will be denied right away. Fight for your i360 till it’s approved. Provide anything they asked in that rfe and you’ll be approved. If you marry and file i130 again it’ll be denied because you failed to prove binafide marriage at your previous one. Fight for your i360 first, if you need to appeal, do it until you get approved. Contact your congress man or senator for your i360.
 
i had a 204c fraud on my i130 and received a NOID on my i360 and responded to that noid giving them many proofs they needed  in that noid and I was approved. Fight hard for i360, don’t get married now

Hello Everyone,
I attended the oath ceremony yesterday and now I am officially a US citizen.
 
The whole process took an hour and a half.
 
*The interviewer had edited my name on the application and used my name before marriage (I had just shortened it) despite of my marriage certificate and SSN and IDs!!
I told her if that was the case then I request a name change (to the name which I had been using 14 years already!) she still edited my name wrong put my put one of my last names as middle name and one as the first name!!! which was ridiculous and became an unnecessary reason for delay and stress!
 
After arriving for the oath ceremony they had us wait in the room and requested that we wear our masks then an employee checked that we had filled the form that is on our notice letter and that we brought our green cards.
At the window; the immigration officer took my green card and handed me my naturalization certificate and name change document (I did mention the name issue he told me it shouldn't be a problem)
  
Then the judge virtually joined us and we were greeted then took the pledge of allegiance we were dismissed.

After weeks of collecting whatever evidence I could of my bonafide marriage and abuse, I finally sent in my I-360, I-485, I-765, and I-131 last week to VSC along with a check with filing fee for I-485. it was very traumatic to write the whole personal statement. I hope I had pen down by emotions for the officer to understand. I also attached the police clearance and good moral certificates.
 
May I ask how much time it takes for check to be cashed? Because my check has not been cashed yet. I'm getting really anxious as to why. My previous EAD is still valid so I'm hoping new EAD comes soon in atleast 6-7 months if possible but I'm curious as to when will I receive the receipts of the above applications?

Timeline:
- 1/2020: submit i-360 & i-485 & i-765
- 4/2020: Request more evidence (record from other state that I have lived)
- 3/2022: New Card is ordered on i-360 case.

Another thing, please skim through this forum from the first thread. Treat it like holy scripture. You will find diamonds of information strewn among the posts. Stuff that no lawyer has the time to tell you. It will take a few days but you profit immensely. Spend maybe an hour a day skimming old threads. When I find something I need to remember I take a screenshot and save it to my Google drive. Also you will notice that when @TBoneTX posts bad jokes, approvals go through the roof soon after. 

Send what you have. Seems adequate. Your statement needs to flow in a reasonable order. When did the relationship start, how did it progress? When did abuse start? What did your partner do, and then what did you do? How did you suffer? Can you demonstrate "extreme cruelty (physical/mental/ financial)" in your statement or with other evidence or both? Are you still with them or separated? Make the statement consistent with the rest of the material, which is easy if one is telling the truth. Don't worry too much, you can send more later if you find something. Or they will send RFE if they need something clarified. But you need to tell them everything about the abuse that you can possibly remember, in your statement.

please note that she used to hit me but i had no photos of injuries. i just said so in my statement.

got a prima facie March 2020,
 
then never seen any update till today March 2022 that a new card is being produced 😭

 
after all that difficult time I’ve been through, I’m beyond happy and grateful rn. 🙏

I just got an update on my i360 “card being produced” what does that mean? 😭 Does this mean I got approved? 
 
I don’t have any forms but the i360 and I didn’t file an i485, I don’t understand what card is being produced  😭 I hope this is not just a glitch

Many of you remember me. I had a 204c FRAUD CHARGE on my I-130 that came last March 2021 while my i360 was pending already. even @sandranj gave me less than 1% chance. Many people here encouraged me but gave me less chance since I had a fraud charge
I received NOID on my i360 last November asking me a list of things that seemed impossible (I posted my  NOID notice here) but I tried to gather proofs. Sent response to NOID on January 31, 22 and today booooommmm card production.  Applied i360 October, 2019.

I finally got my green card in hand. They had sent it to my lawyer's office.
I just wanted to encourage everyone who is waiting for their day to come. Even though you are going through this scary roller coaster now, just know it will eventually come to a stop. So just hang on tight, don't give up, don't loose hope keep fighting and  keep going.
I have been through it all, Bad marriage, Stokes, Removal Proceedings and even Arrest record. All this to say if my roller coaster came to a stop, so will yours. Have faith and stay strong. Even if you loose hope, because I know I did many times,  pick yourself up and keep pushing. 
Many of us, as we are waiting we miss out on alot of things like weddings, baby showers, graduations, separation from children we left behind, missing our families and even sad events like funerals. You have to believe the Supreme Being who brought you here will take good care of you. Your prayers and your tears will not be in vain. You will win!
 
 

Attend therapy 5/7 sessions and have a psychological evaluation done, if you don't have apolice report. Obtain a police clearance from any place you have lived during the past  5 years.Get letter from family and friends stating bonafide marriage and about the abuse.How to fill out the forms you should check all VAWA threads, there are hundreds of post about it.Good luck.

So uscis sent me an RFE,  
They claim that my marriage met the normal standards of a bona fide marriage,  however since I'm in removal proceedings,  section 204(g) applies ( higher burden of proof), and I need to submit more clear and convincing evidence .
 
Anyone had to go through this before?

today I woke up with the great news that my i485 changed status to New Card is Being Produced, I guess this means that my GC has been approved?
Is it the 10 year GC? from this point how long do I have to wait to get the card in my hands?  please let me know

I 485, I 130 and I 765 January 2019.                          Interview was scheduled August 2019 but because of how abusive my wife was to me on the day of the interview my I 485 was held in abeyance                                                                        I 360 Oct 2019.                                                                  RFE Aug 2021 for good moral character, shared residence and Good faith marriage.                          RFE received Oct 2021                                                      New Card is being Produced January 2022.                                               

I am a silent reader in this forum . This forum is more powerful than even hiring a lawyer . I have a lawyer but I gathered all my knowledge here by reading through all the threads and I just want to say a big Thank You to @Stillwinning!!!😊 @sandraj and all the other guys who always chimed in to educate us all on this forum. My journey started in 2019 and it was one of the hardest and most devastated year of my life but with God and you guys I was able to find some strength to do this. I’m a oct 2019 filer and I got my first RFE august 2021and I was so frustrated and depressed all over again with sleepless nights etc but today God showed up and I got a notification for my I 360 that a new card is being produced . I cried with a sense of relief that finally they approved my case . For all of you guys waiting for your case to be adjudicated don’t lose hope just believe in God and take advice from all the educated people on this forum . It’s worth it than even hiring a lawyer .
