This is what happens when a left wing liberal gets elected to the presidency and has his head up the arses of LaRaza, MALDEF, etc. He believes in open borders and has hobbled any effort at enforcing our long standing immigration / work authorization laws while advocating the rewarding en mass of just about every illegal alien with amnesty already here or that will get here in the future through his willful inaction. This is how corrupt political machines rig the political process. If you can't get the native population to support your agendas...import future voters that are dependent on your party. Obama and his cronies are the epitome of party hacks. He knows the American people are souring on him and the Democrats quickly and he hopes to prime the pump for the future while he can.
And his is doing this with the worst unemployment in decades. He is favoring illegal foreign workers over American citizens by protecting illegal aliens from law enforcement while aiding and abetting them.

Ah Super Ovomit to the rescue. What a joke for a president we have elected, he will be gone in 2 years thank goodness! And all you liberal wack jobs on here from the far left that bashed Bush and the republicans for past 4 years should be ashamed of yourselves, look at what a inept job your democrat congress and democrat president has done! See what happens when you elect a community organizer, whatever the hell that is!

Think about it? Can you blame them? would you want to depend on Ovomit? I mean really the guy is in over his head, this crisis shows us all what a dip$hit we have for a president. And by the way under his watch, there have now been about 3 terrorist bomb attempts or maybe more which under Bush after 9/11 never happened. Ummm, wonder why that is, I see the muslim islam world really took heed of Ovomit and really thought a lot of him going around bowing to muslim islam leaders and kissing their sorry a$$ and apologizing for the USA all the time, really worked did it.

If you believe this I got some oceanfront property in Arizona I would like to sell you!
Lies and more lies, it will cost every household more than that! Ovomit and Kerry the ferry are liars, do the math, the EPA is an instrument or a tool of massive dictatorship for Ovomit now to force on all of us his lofty out of touch unrealistic new world order socialist communist agenda. You can bet those new taxes will cost more than $79-$146 a year more like per month or double to quadruple per month. People open your eyes. And Ovomit will try to use this Gulf Oil incident to make excuse for him to push this energy tax off on all of us! AND who is it going to truly help??? I can tell you the same people at the top of the food chain in WALL STREET that made out like one armed bandits in a casino back in 2008 when we bailed them out with taxpayer funds! This "cap and trade" means "craps and taxes" And here is what is going to happen, these tax credits the government will issue for corp to pollute will be traded or bought and sold on a new exchange or board of trade just like stocks or bonds or derivatives or commodities. AND who will benefit from all this trading of tax credits??? WALLSTREET, they are the ones that will be making the lucrative commissions off all those trades and guess what, when you factor in speculation and their commission, those costs all get passed on down the food chain, right on down to the bottom, that is right you and I the end consumer once again gets hit with this hidden tax, thanks to Ovomit and the democrat congress. I have never seen such a spend and tax bunch ever, this is ridiculous and it is not going to stop pollution from corp or green house gas, which is the problem, think about it all it is going to do is allow these companies to continue to pollute but now US govt is going to make them pay a fee or tax to pollute thus guess who that tax is getting passed on to??? That is right you and I the end user. What a joke Ovomit is.

If you would read the link then you would know the answer to your question. Also if you would like to compare who paid the most taxes last year, I would be happy to compare with you. No one said the government shouldn't regulate business and no one said anything about not paying taxes.

I was one of the most passionate Obama advocates, even donated money to his campaign. I believed his promise of change, such as a public healthcare option (didn't happen), believed that we would get the hell out of the wars (didn't happen; $1,000,000,000,000.00 of taxpayers' money spent so far), believed in immigration reform (didn't happen), believed in banking reform (didn't happen), in short, I believed in a man who would kick ####, right away, while showing big corporations the erected middle finger. None of this turned out to be the case.
I know Bush was a crook, a moron, completely incompetent, deeply embedded in the corporate landscape, helping his buddies in oil and warfare out.
What almost makes Obama worse is that he has no stand at all. His balls are in a glass jar at home, and he is as incompetent as Bush was. Sure, he's more intelligent, better educated, and most of all gives better speeches. But what levels this out is that he betrayed so many of us who stood up for him and believed what he promised yet never delivered. In my opinion Obama is a career politician, a multi-millionaire looking for popularity and buddies in every aisle.
Truthfully, I wish the Democrats would elect another Presidential candidate for 2012. Won't happen as well.

Agreed on the first one, but I am having a lot of trouble believing that one man could assault 20 people with his super-human strength. But if you are to use said super powers, beware of the taser guns, and inevitable death! Gotcha mate!

Anyway, Mexican officials probably would like the entertainment, so song and dance is a possibility. Wasn't that what village idiots did back in the day?

john & jean reacted to JimVaPhuong in k1 visa - admission to marijuana experimentation at medical
There are two way that an admission of drug use could become an inadmissibility. One - the applicant is determined to be a drug addict or abuser - INA 212(a)(1)(A)(iv). Two - the applicant is determined to have committed a crime of moral turpitude - INA 212(a)(2)(A)(i)(I).
There is no way they are going to determine the OP is a drug addict or abuser on the basis of an admission of a single instance of marijuana use more than 10 years ago.
As far as crime of moral turpitude, there is an important exception to INA 212(a)(2)(A) - the crime occurred before the applicant was 18 years old, and the crime was committed or the punishment for the crime ended more than 5 years before the visa application was submitted. This is probably why the doctor didn't pursue it when he discovered it had occurred more than 10 years prior.
This act does not constitute an inadmissibility.

Before my mom went to her medical I wasn't too concerned of this sputum test in SLMC, but when they told her she needed one that's when I really started reading/researching about the experiences of people who have/had to undergo the same procedure all over the internet and not just in VJ forum.
Anything (even a slight blur) they see on the x-ray plate is a reason for them to ask for sputum tests. I read somewhere that they (SLMC) became "strict" when the embassy complained that a lot of Filipina fiancees who arrived in the US are TB positive the past few years (I don't know if this is true).
Anyway, not all US immigrant applicants in the Philippines post in this forum, if you think you don't see a lot of members who say they were found "positive" then you don't need to be worried. I didn't post on your thread for you to be worried, I was just sharing something that we experienced so that you will be MORE informed because I would have gladly appreciated if someone told me about this issue when we were in the early stages of my mom's application.
And about your second question, please don't be arrogant. Don't you think that maybe people are not answering it because they don't know the answer and they don't want to give a wrong advice? You are not paying anyone here to answer your question please be nice.

john & jean reacted to IndigoSkies in A significant reduction in I130 approval
Since I'm the self-declared number ####### of VisaJourney, I decided to find more interesting information about USCIS. I was able to plug into USCIS data regarding the total number of case approved versus how many new cases were received for the past 24 months, starting March 2010 and going back 24 months. What I found saddens me.

As you can see from both the table and the graph, USCIS is receiving nearly constant count of new application each month. But in March 2010, the number of new application jumped a lot. Inversely, number of new application approved have been droping from its spike July 2009. Since the insane rise and the drop, there have been only two small up trends. Where the approval count stands as of March 2010, people who hoped to get approved in April, May, June can only cry assured of knowing their cases took longer, or will take longer. There are no factors indicating the approvals will pickup. USCIS isn't neither hiring new staff nor increasing pay. As I know of.
By the way, this data deals with California Service Center. It should still give you some idea about other centers or the picture of national picture.

We have to let go of things...through loss of memory or not...
I was talking to a Hindu person once about 5 years ago and I was telling them about what a hard time I had during my late 20s/early 30s. I then remember telling this person that even though I had the 'general memory' of it being a difficult time, I could no longer really remember any of the real details of what made it so difficult. That person then told me that this 'losing of memory over time' is a gift from God, less we dwell on the past too much and fail to live in the present. I remember how that struck a very deep chord in me...and resonated beautifully with the the unknown graces of God...his release from our woes...
    Peace to you my Brother,

    Ninja, calm down...
How are you setting yourself up to fail? Here goes:
If you're expecting to actually get some useful information by inquiring BEFORE the posted timeline then you will fail. At this point all USCIS will give anyone is "Check back in 60 days if you haven't heard anything and are outside the posted timeline."
If the congressional office is irritated that you know the posted timeline and still want them to check things for you then you may get shuffled to the bottom of their pile. In the event something goes awry at a later date in your process they may not be to eager to help you. Sure they'll look into it but will it get the same attention it would have if you'd been more patient now? Granted nobody can say for certain but why risk it?
As stated this process is uncaring and mechanical. There is nothing logical (or emotional for that matter) about it. USCIS has a process and that process is followed, period.

Look at your congressman as a gun... you only have so many bullets... if you use them up early on.. they may not be there when you really need them 6 months from now... Thats what he meant by setting oneself up to fail... As I said before.. logic does not apply to the immigration system... If you try to apply logic you will just be causing yourself additional stress trying to make sense of something that is senseless...
Rest assured that Darnell has a complete grasp on the subject matter and that this is a public forum in which you have posted to get feedback from other members... Waiting can be very stressful, but don't vent on other members if you dont like the responses...
Also, By using the congressional liason (public resource) now, they may be wasting time on your case which is within current processing times, that another case which has been in AP for over a Year could benefit from...

0h John.....Im soooo sorry. :crying: :crying:
    He is with our Messiah.
    Rainbow Bridge
Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.
When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.
There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together.
There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.
All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.
The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.
They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.
You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.
Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....
    Author unknown...
