Clairebear got a reaction from Luciana Sarah M in February 2021 K1 Filers
Thanks for the information. That’s what I really need. I just found out processing is being slower than before. So I was so confused. Even 1-2 weeks ago, it seems like people got NOA2 between 180-210 days. Not at all, it did in my country. :/ anyway thank you for the answer. I just understand that many people haven’t received NOA2 yet more than I know. Hope we get NOA2.
  2. Thanks

Of course with covid, the process has slowed down even more.  You are within the normal time range though.  Hopefully you get your NOA2 soon.

Don't worry your time will come, do remember there is almost 12% applications from January which have not even been touched and I know people are still waiting from Oct Nov and Dec as well, be patient and stop checking it every hour that will do nothing but make your hair fall.

Make a pattern, check every Monday and Wednesday. Don't read too much into what the USCIS is doing because honestly there is NOONE NOooooOOOOne who can tell you with 110% conviction that "this is why"

So support, try to learn more tips and tricks, fill out your timeline so that way you can easily find out what's happening within that range with a little more accuracy, check your countries forum.

    Cheers

Clairebear got a reaction from SalishSea in Processing time to NOA2
    Hi, Guys.
I am one of K-1 March filers. And I am nearing 215 days for NOA2. These days, according to other guys’s time line, we can find out people barely got NOA 2 since middle of February.
I wonder why… I was searching news or media stuffs of K-1 for now. But I couldn’t find anything why it is being slow. I just guess it’s because of Covid or Thanksgiving, holidays?
Is there anyone who knows why it’s getting slow? Or please let me share any news of fiancé visa..

    Hi March people!

I wanted to let you know the latest on February processing. You can see my latest update on that thread, but basically, even though as of today the out of processing times date is Feb 25, you should know that only 31% of Feb cases have been approved or RFEd so far and there's been very little movement past 2/12.

Feb 25 stands at about 8% approved/RFEd and the dates between Feb 13 and Feb 24 are much lower, many less than 1%. That's a LOT of people filing for outside processing times. What I expect to see is them moving into the later dates as earlier ones get up to 40% or so. We don't have any WAC range (500 cases) higher than 62% complete right now.

Do with this info what you will. I don't know what it means for March. Probably they will start processing March when they are a little further into February and we'll see a lot of March processed with Feb left hanging. It happened with January/February. Consider adjusting your expectations accordingly. And good luck.

Clairebear reacted to Marieke H in RFE Question about financial evidence
So the RFE is not about financial support; it is about intent to marry. The financial support is just one of the examples that could be submitted as evidence of intent to marry. A signed letter of intent from both parties is important evidence of intent to marry, and people usually get an RFE if they do not include such a statement. You can find a link to an example statement in the K-1 Guide:
Besides the statement, it is good to add some of the other things mentioned, but you definitely do not have to include all. We included a few screenshots of text messages (about one screenshot every few months, most showed us discussing our future, wedding, family, etc.), and boarding passes and passport stamps from my visits. We also included a few pictures (6 I believe) of us together or with each other's family members. You don't need to send a huge packet, but just enough to show that you are in a genuine relationship.

To all the March Filers, your NOA-1 should be the day they received your application not the date they sent the notice. Please check your timeline to make sure you are not entering April as your NOA-1 date. We discussed this plenty on other forums. Also please see example from USCIS. Notice the "notice date" is irrelevant.

You will know whether you are rejected within a few days of filing.  Take in a deep breath, release it slowly and smile because you started your journey.
If the case tracker app is causing panic, take a break from it.  Seriously.  If you do not hear anything after 1 week of filing, then you are on the road to getting your NOA-1.

    Hi,
Creating this thread for those who filed I-129F in March 2021. It should be known that the lockbox is currently delayed by about 2-3 months. Therefore don’t expect to receive your NOA-1 right away.
