yellowtowo9 reacted to wtrav in 23 weeks pregnant at K1 interview
It's not true. I was 28-30 weeks pregnant on my interview. They only asked if my fiance was the father. Got the visa without any hiccups whatsoever. That happened in November 2019.

so i have read a few comments on visajourney that say if a woman is pregnant during the interview, the visa won't be issues until they have the child. but i have read this isnt true. it is very confusing, does anyone have any actual sources/examples that talk about this situation

Will not speed up the case
and does affect in the following ways:
DNA test to prove it is your child are costly
if granted a K1 , most airlines do not allow travel in the last trimester
as far as immigration is concerned, you are rushing into the relationship as you need time to know the person
nothing wrong with talk of a future and possibilities of family but the idea of planning a child when neither of you have witnessed the other's culture and seen personal values is premature
really we all wish you success and happiness but your head must rule these life changing decisions

Why else would she refer to the price of a DNA test unless she was telling the topic creator it was required?
Also not the only time I've seen it on visa journey just the most recent.
