Daily Update on Biden Tanking America (Part 2)
TBoneTX replied to TBoneTX's topic in Current Events and Hot Social Topics
51 Former Intelligence Officials Insist Biden Never Once Used An Autopen WASHINGTON, D.C. — In a stunning blow to Trump's dubious claim that former president Joe Biden signed his last-minute pardons with an autopen, 51 former intelligence officials have come forward to testify that Biden never once used an autopen and that all his signatures are legitimate. "Oh yeah, they're all totally legit. I personally witnessed Biden signing the pardons with my own two eyes," said former CIA Director John Brennan to reporters. "You have to believe what former intelligence officials say. That's in the Constitution." [...] https://babylonbee.com/news/51-former-intelligence-officials-insist-biden-never-once-used-an-autopen -
Daily Update on Biden Tanking America (Part 2)
TBoneTX replied to TBoneTX's topic in Current Events and Hot Social Topics
Trump Declares Biden Pardons 'Void' Over Autopen Signatures In a shock move Sunday night, Donald Trump declared that the pardons Joe Biden issued to the accused J6 Committee criminals and other leftist crooks are void because the previous president didn't actually sign them. While Biden wasn't the first president to use an Autopen, allegations have flown thick and fast that senile Old Joe often didn't decide to sign — and possibly didn't always know what was being signed. Evidently Trump believes the evidence is strong enough on those counts to justify volcanic action. A karma ran over her dogma. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Judge Slaps Fani Willis With Huge Fine Talk about karma! Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis has been slapped with a $54,000 penalty for blatantly violating Georgia's open records laws in her politically motivated prosecution of President Donald Trump. "The county's Superior Court Judge Rachel Krause formalized her ruling Friday and ordered Willis to pay $54,264 in attorneys' fees and litigation costs after 'intentionally' failing to provide records requested by Ashleigh Merchant, the attorney who filed the motion to disqualify Willis from prosecuting Trump on charges of allegedly interfering with the 2020 presidential election," reports Fox News Digital. This all sounds accurate. I think that the approach is refreshing as well as successful. Comments? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Trump Revolutionizes Political Communication Donald Trump has broken so much crockery so fast that one thing he's doing is underappreciated. No administration has communicated with voters as often or as directly as his. Not only are top officials on TV and social media constantly; they are bypassing all the usual media filters to do it. They do live interviews, podcasts and social-media posts and videos. Every day, many senior officials appear on camera, controlling their message by doing live spots that can't be edited. Their presentations are as blunt as their policies. A recent example was Vice President JD Vance's speech to a shocked Munich audience. Mr. Vance's approach, and that of the entire Trump staff, matches that of the boss, who clearly emphasized media savvy in choosing his cabinet and White House aides. That criterion was second only to loyalty to Mr. Trump and his agenda. The administration's strategy takes full advantage of new communications channels while playing down older outlets that routinely oppose Mr. Trump. The biggest advantages of this approach are greater control over the message and increased effectiveness. The word comes directly from policymakers, not their spokesmen or anonymous sources. To return to the topic, I admit that I buy quite a bit of canned and packaged food from estate sales. If it's not in-date, it's usually only lightly expired, and canned stuff is normally good for years*. *I've eaten canned stuff 7 years old without ill effect If I pay 50 cents for a can of name-brand corn or green beans, it's cheaper than in stores. Just like with bed sheets, the temptation is to over-buy.

Forgive a temporary hijacking of this thread, but I have firm opinions about bed linens: 1. All pillowcases should be long enough and wide enough to fit the thickest pillows readily. 2. All twin sheet sets should include TWO pillowcases, not just one. 3. Without exception, all sheets should have deep pockets. 4. All full, queen, & king sets should have the name of the size* tagged or printed in TWO places on both sheets**. *not merely the measurement in inches or centimeters **thus making it easier to pick the correct size at estate sales 5. All full-&-larger sheets should have something in the print or the fabric to indicate which way they fit on the bed. 6. There's probably something else for which I'll edit this to add. 7. Next, I'll tell you how I really feel about bed linens. 8. Now back to our regularly scheduled post topic.

This is one thing that we share, except that I look for sheets at estate sales and selectively upgrade my holdings. When Mini-Bone outgrew his twin bed and I sold it, the linen closet held 9 sets of twin sheets to include in the sale (!). That was instructive in terms of not hoarding linens, whether bed or bath. Regardless, I still have too many full and queen sheet sets, but all are too good to donate or get rid of. I typically rotate them onto the bed when the ones in use get washed.

Thrilling Monday-on-Tuesday report, see man: We did not leave the casa until Many p.m., see below man. We were corresponding all day with the FNSJJC (Foxy Not-So-Junior Junior Chica), si man. We are hoping to see her on Tuesday, hopeful we man. If not, we can perhaps road-trip to see the RJCWBC (Remote Junior Chica With Bad Car), perhaps man. PJC (Proximal JC) had heavy workload and had to back out of afternoon meeting, snakebitten man. Lunch was 2 turkey-&-cheese sandwiches, ingest we man. A subsequent siesta was attempted but not consummated, man. We left the casa after Many p.m. to grocery at Walmart for Mama T-B., pack-mule we man. Amazingly, all desired items were available and store traffic was light, first time in some time man. Mama T-B. didn't yell at us about much except to "find a wife, si man," man. Din-din was Subway*, ingest we man. *WUOC + gift card, financially savvy we man A siesta thereafter was largely successful, zzz we man. We had donated a bag of seemingly jalapeño'd cheaps to ex-Mrs.-T-B., mistakenly purchased by we man man. Ex-Mrs.-T-B. took them to her birthday retreat, Mexicanas also there man. Ex-she man reported that the cheaps were delicious, more sour than hot man. We responded, "We bought you cheap**, si man," si man. **see very old story, see man So that was our "cheap" contribution to ex-Mrs.-T-B.'s birthday extravaganza, OK with us man. We curbsided the garbage and ministered to needy miu, curbside and minister we man. Party with the rubias tonight, cavort we man. Tuesday plans as stated, q.v. above man. And that was/is our thrilling Monday, report we man.
