Just dropped my husband off at the airport and he's off back to Canada....missing the birth of our first child since he should be in the next batch of interviews. Please pray for me you all! I think I'm beyond depressed at this point. 

Well I'm not due till may 1st and he had to go back for work. And then he'll be in this next batch of interviews hopefully for April so he'll miss the birth...unless his interview is in the first week in April really.

You do realize that this will encourage illegal immigration right? He cares nothing about Legal Immigrants. Also I don't know why you think all Republicans are racists when the reality is far from that. 

My husbands flight from the US to Canada is cancelled as of this morning! They are cancelling flights till april 30th so wth do I do? Hes stuck here or what?? My due date for our baby is May 1st so I guess he could stay, but he'll he reaching his 6 months in June! I just dont want an issue at the interview about his long stay because it wasn't our fault they're cancelling flights to the US and all right around my due date 😭. We're estimating his interview to be either in April or May so I just feel stuck. Is anyone else's spouse in this situation being stuck in the US right now??

Yes! My husband came for Christmas and is staying for 2 months. So we had documents prepared just incase. We had a signed letter from his work saying that he still has a job when he comes back, we got a pay stub, a house/apartment bill, and had our marriage certificate with him. We also had a copy of the 1-130 receipt just in case too. So he had absolutely no trouble! The officer didn't even ask how long he was staying for, he just asked where he was going and if he had anything to declare and then let him through. BUT each officer is different and I know some people do get questioned out more so it's always better to be prepared with as many documents as you can travel with. Especially ones that tie you to your home country like a signed letter from work, pay stub, and a rent bill or something to prove that you still have ties to your home country. Hope this helps! Yes! I came from USA to Canada to be with my spouse BUT I traveled by air. I presented our physical ORIGINAL marriage certificate. The customs officer actually asked quite a few questions (sort of unexpected). Like how long I'm visiting for (I said 2 months) and how long have we been living apart (I said since marriage lol). I did mention that my husband is in the process of immigrating to the USA and we're waiting for his interview (which is why we're still living apart/separately). After that, he seemed to be fine and let us go through. It was an interesting experience!

No, they are so not considerate Only if I had a life threatening complication. They think if that would get you expedited, then all women would get pregnant just to get across 😒 Like do they actually think I want to deal with immigration being pregnant. I know of other countries that expedited for pregnancy though. Montreal is just the worst!!

I would try wells Fargo! I ready asked these questions about adding my husband on and they can, but nothing can be under his name or he cant open a bank account without his ssn. I'm pretty sure that's what they said, it was a while ago. I'd call them though

I am honestly willing to join a lawsuit at this point hahaha like I dont even care. Montreal is the worst ever. Like do they forget they're doing this service to US Citizens?!?! I guess not. Horrible, so horribly treated.
