Where are you checking your status? 

My wife and I finally got our interview notice in the mail. 
 
Strange, our tracking numbers have not changed in status at all. They've been stuck on My Case Was Received since March. 
 
Also, we haven't had our biometrics yet. Is this something they can just do at the time of the appointment. The craziest thing, however, is that the interview is October 23rd while my wife's due date for our baby is October 21st. We're hoping the baby comes very soon because we are hesitant to try to reschedule our interview at this point. 
 
I saw on the interview notice a box you can check to reschedule it, but if I did that, I'd have to trust the mail to safely deliver our request. And what if they didn't get the request by the time of our interview. So far we think our baby will be born before our due date, but I'm mostly writing right now to inquire about the biometrics. Perhaps I should call the local office where our interview is, but will they just fingerprint here at the time of the interview?

Biometrics Appointment Finally received after 9 months for 10/20/2020 

Got our notice in the mail today. We were notified of our interview being scheduled on Sept. 28th via the case tracker and the NOA today says a Nov. 3rd interview date at 8am. It seems like early mornings are a good sign so hoping that holds true!

Got my biometrics notice in the mail! Yay!

Hi guys... my interview is on Monday and I just printed all the things!

I am bringing:

-all notices ever received from USCIS
-I-693 in sealed envelope
-apartment lease and renter's insurance, utility bill
-credit card statement with SO (petitioner) as an authorized user
-joint checking account statement
-joint investment account statement (just an online bank)
-wedding venue/cater vendor agreement (we married in front of a judge just the two of us in Jan, but was planning on having a bigger ceremony in Sept,,,postponed TBD at this point cuz of COVID  otherwise there aren't really many things related to wedding itself)
-just a few photos of trips we took and some outdoor activities
-SO's W2s, tax transcript, pay stubs

Original and made copies of:
-marriage certificate
-both our birth certificates, translations
-passports, visa, I-94, licenses
-old EADs (didn't make copies tho)
 
Anything else I should add? I tried to add some more things that have both our names on it since the application in Feb, which is just the new lease/renter's insurance and wedding planning contracts. I-864 was already submitted of course but I did print the W2s and tax stuff just in case, but didn't print any of the immigration forms themselves (I-485,I-864 etc.)

A bit nervous...wish me luck!

I guess today was my lucky day with a tier 2 agent. He scheduled a bio appt for me! It's on next month but at least I finally have a date! He can't send the notice through e-mail yet unless it's 5 days before the appt but I'm supposed to get it in 10 days on the mail. I guess it's about trying and trying until you get somebody nice. I hope this is true though bc if it's not I'll be really sad.

Interview date set for October 27th!!!!!! Excited and nervous at the same time... Nothing like an early morning interrogation while 8 months pregnant 😅😂 So happy to see things are finally moving along and Feb filers are seeing progress 💪💪

Case status for i485 updated to "Interview has been Scheduled" as of today!

Anyone know where I can find a good resource for all the things we should gather. Going to be tough to get as much evidence as we can because of lockdowns, feels like nothing has happened in life!

Congratulations! Same for me, combo card arrived yesterday. Fingerprints were on the 11th and approval was on the 21st. Seems like things are speeding up a bit Good luck for everyone still waiting!

EAD / AP card came yesterday. Less than a week between prints and card so they are speeding things up for sure. Can anyone enlighten us on the parameters for travel on AP? Can my wife visit her new nephew in Sweden without fear of not being able to return (that was the reason listed for requesting AP)?

EAD updated to "card has been mailed to me" as of last night. Time to start job hunting!
(AP still says "approved", though!)

Just received my EAD / AP Physical Approval Notices today.

 
They were both Dated 8/20/2020 4 days before my ASC appointment. 😄

Hey guys, want to share a really good positive updates: I got my EAD card yesterday !! 
I did my biometric last week. And my I765 & I131 were approved in July. One interesting fact is I didn't get biometric notice for AP but the card I received is a combo card.  Hopefully this means that I don't need to go in for another biometric Good luck everyone !!
