I try to show as much empathy as possible since being on this board and with the entire COVID situation.  However, for some reason, I dont have any empathy at all for the OP.  As far as I understand from the quick read of the thread, the OP's fiance or gf has overstayed for 2 years, which would be the entire length of this pandemic.  Canada has not been closed.  For the longest of time, you could have flown into the country but not crossed overland.  There were ways to get back.  Im mainly in the Philippines section and those couples (especially K1s) are going through pure h$ll.  Many of those couples have not seen their significant other for 16+ months, many others are over the two year mark now.  They have followed the rules, they have put their relationships on the line with the distance, the inability to even see each other with that country basically closed off to most foreigners.  I converted to Buddhism about 25 years ago and that red light to me is called karma.  Hopefully, though, things will eventually work out for the OP.  

Yes I will be speaking with a lawyer. I just need to figure out how to pay them. My brother has some money he's going to loan me and sometimes they let the people being processed use Zoom but I need to figure out how that works. It's all so overwhelming. And I know I was dumb for waiting for so long, people keep saying this and I agree. But I think HOPE! marrying her before they can deport her would be better because then they would have to make a decision to divide a married couple for 10 years. I think that would be a hard decision for anyone to make against two people in love. I just need to figure out how.

Catch your snap.  You need to sit down with an immigration attorney, a good one, and listen to him or her read from the book.  You got a long road coming up and you got to pony up for both of you.  Big chance that road is a dead end.
 
Marrying before you’re caught puts you on a path to a waiver.  Marrying just after?  Man that looks bad.  That looks like marrying for immigration benefits.  This is a deeper hole than most of us can help you out of.  I hope y’all work out.

Actions have consequences, and getting married won’t escape these.  Proving “extreme hardship” for a waiver isn’t easy and it isn’t quick.  Sorry bro.  Tough break.
 
There IS a waiver process but it’ll take awhile. 

Unfortunate choices were made.   You might have to petition her for a visa and wait your turn, just like the rest of us.

No one is forcing people to enter a contest. If people are uncomfortable with giving their vaccine status to a corporation, they can choose to sit this out. I don't understand why this is controversial in a free market economy. 

Because HIPAA isn't relevant here? You're releasing your own information to United, which isn't a "covered entity" for HIPAA. If you're not interested in releasing that information to United, you don't have to. You just can't enter the contest.

I'd say start preparing the docs - birth certificate, police certificate(s), financials, proof of relationships, wedding plans, learn about medical exam, how you (or your fiance) will go there, are the vaccines and/or medical record fine? You can start with DS-160 as well. Start preparing the folders for the docs etc.

I don't have my NVC received date, but my NOA2 was 02/23/2021.
By 03/30/2021 it had left the NVC to go to the embassy in Warsaw.
By 04/26/2021 I received email saying Embassy in Warsaw had received the petition, and the email included instructions asking to do the DS-160, Pay Visa Fee, Schedule Appointment, Medical Tests, etc. (The paper / mail notices were a few weeks behind for me).

It took us until April 20 to get our NOA2. I'm not sure why (we didn't have any RFEs). Currently we're at NVC. I called and got our NVC case/invoice numbers on May 14th, so now we're just waiting for them to forward it to the embassy. How long were you at NVC before they sent your petition to the embassy?

Mostly unrelated to this post, I am so glad to see that you're at the interview scheduling stage! We're at the same embassy and also with a June 2020 NOA1, but we're a couple months behind you on the NOA2/NVC received stage.

You just need to wait. It's normal. NVC sends documents every other Tuesday and Wednesday, so this week they will be mailing files to the embassies, next date is June 8th & 9th etc. There are no steps you missed.
 
 

finally got our case approved today (05/19/2021). Just waiting for the actual NO2 in the mail. Took them 60 days to process our RFE, they received my reply 03/18/2021. 😁🥳🥳

Interview went great. Getting the visa in about a week or two. And were together in a month. 😁😁😁😁

I'm in a same-sex relationship with very conservative Senators and Representatives, and they helped our case (NOA1 in June 2020 and NOA2 in April 2021). It may be worth giving it a try, honestly. Their offices were very kind throughout the process.

Ok, 1 month and 1 day after interview, the visa is approved and is being sent back to fiancé. Trust in the Lord. That’s all there is to it.
