Is there anyone who is waiting for an interview in Ankara?  It is going to be two months, and we still did not get interview date. 

Nothing from Jerusalem yet, it's so frustrating 😩
 
he U.S. Embassy in Jerusalem and the Embassy Branch Office in Tel Aviv remain unable to resume routine immigrant and nonimmigrant visa services at this time. We will resume routine visa services as soon as possible but are unable to provide a specific date.

I renewed my ESTA during the CR1 process, it wasn't a problem at all. Maybe when you reached the NVC stage it is I am not sure of that.

Unfortunately almost everyone in family immigration has to endure time apart.  A few stay together in the beneficiary's country or, like us, lived in a third country together.
 
A year and 10 months is long.  Please fill out a timeline so we know how long each step has taken and you will het better advice.  Also correct your "filed for" to not be DCF.  Clearly if you did DCF you would have been done by now.

You have to interview in the consulate that has jurisdiction for IRAN unless you have legal residency in another country.  Fortunately you have a few choices.  It is hard to tell which one will be quicker.   You will need to let the NVC know which one you want.

My understanding is you need to be a legal resident of the country of which the embassy is located for you to be interviewed there

We just got expedited at the NVC stage on Friday, May 29th.
 
On the status site it says that out case is in transit. Hopefully it will arrive soon at the embassy and we'll get a interview quickly.

Starting this thread in the hopes of getting information about the Rio de Janeiro interviews.
 
I got DQ on May 6th and am waitng for the interview letter.
 
Consulate still closed.
 
Fingers crossed for myself and everyone in this boat!

All consulates and embassies are closed for the foreseeable future. They need to open up before appointments can be allocated and then the priority will probably be those people whose appointments were cancelled due to the closures.
