Hello,

Is there anyone who is waiting for an interview in Ankara?  It is going to be two months, and we still did not get interview date.

Things are much slower than normal...  many interviews are delayed beyond 2 months due to the known global issue. However, try emailing them with the specifics of your case : CA-Adana@state.gov

All the best!

Thank you.

Are you waiting for CR1/IR1 interview as well ? I know other visa category is taking long, but not sure about this visa category.

@Khloey  @yusef94  @Aynur   Did you all get an appointment for the CR1 visa interview from Ankara?

I need to make a decision which embassy to pick for my wife's interview coming from Iran. Which country/embassy do you recommend for Iranians given the current situation with Covid?

Appreciate any feedback you can share.

Thanks!

Not yet!! it's been 9 months and still waiting and Ankara embassy is now closed till May 17th

pick Amman Jordan or Doha Qatar, these are your two best bet, they're open and can review any case not just the locals. So far, Turkey is the worst!!

Thanks @yusef94 ! That is crazy. Your case is at NVC waiting for the Ankara to schedule the interview? You cannot transfer your own case? Once you pick which country/embassy you are stuck with that choice?

Agreed Turkey is very slow. Ive also heard that Doha was closed for such a long time that they have backlog. Everyone pretty much does. I dont know how anyone really knows the “best” embassy for wait times.
