I'm in! I had the passport check in Dallas, got asked a bunch of questions, as I was entering with the ESTA, but as I was with my fiancée it was kinda easy. I got asked my reason for traveling, how long I am gonna stay, where did I came from and how long I stayed in Mexico, what do I do for a living and where, and then a bunch of small questions related to that. After that we were free to go and I was able to travel to St. Louis withot problems and here I am! So I'm glad to say that it is safe to enter with the ESTA to visit during this times as long as you stay away the 14 days from the banned countries.
I wish everyone else trying this the best of luck, I'm rooting for all of you!

I couldn't check-in online for my flight to the US so I had to go to the airport a couple hours sooner than planned. Check-in and security went smoothly.
Before security, you need to scan a QR code and fill in a health form online, so be sure to have your phone's data/Wifi ready. 4 hours away from flying, 8 hours away from finding out if I can enter the US. If you can, please pray!

Only time will tell if they will process K-1s normally or keep them on hold as well.
The cases they are processing are all exemptions to the EO. K-1s should not have been impacted by EO to begin with, so that part of me says they should be fine.
Additionally, K-1 is always the odd ball as it's NIV but handled by IV units. Many times even the consulate's own interview instructions incorrectly reference IV requirements (like an I-864 instead of I-134). So it is very possible K visas were just overlooked. It's not a detailed announcement...it's kept short for easy digestion.
At the same time, who a consulate interviews is up to them. Unless somebody can get a court to order them to do otherwise, they will do what they do.
I've seen a lot of comments along this line recently. Tensions are too high...
But those of us who are no longer separated from our loved ones know what it was like. We absolutely have not forgotten what it's like. It's not exactly something you just overlook..most of us spent the better part of a year or multiple years apart.
But also being on the outside, we can have a more objective look at things. When you're going through a hardship, it's extremely difficult to be objective. It's personal. I get that.
I personally think it's more likely than not that K-1s will continue since they should not be impacted by the EO. But that's certainly not a guarantee either.
The law is written in a way that clearly differentiates a spouse from a fiance/fiancee. Spouses are generally awarded a different level of concern. For example, a fiance/fiancee is banned by the other EOs based on presence within certain countries within the past 14 days, spouses are exempt.
if spouses (and other exempt IRs) are given priority for appointments then so be it...it is what it is and getting angry, frustrated, annoyed, depressed, or whatever (everybody is different here) will never resolve the issue. Patience is always the name of the game when it comes to immigration.
Keep the faith - in yourself, your partner, and whatever else you may believe in.

I just wish the embassies would announce anything even if it is no or that they are looking into opening and what services.
I think also of us could agree that the lack of information is a real pain in the butt... Months have gone by and still we wait hopeful of any words of hope. Even this news does not really mean anything if the embassy is closed or locked down by the local government. I had not seen my husband in almost 18months and was supposed to get back out there in March - It all got cancelled. I just want to go home.
I am not a religious person but I must admit to quietly praying for news.
Stay strong! We will get though this!

We all need to understand that K1 is a hybrid visa. it is non immigrant but with migration intent...By the standards of migration K1's are recognized as spouse of US citizens. As to being a hybrid visa it can be confusing most time to which category it belongs to. For those of us that watched the US embassy in Jamaica facebook live chat yesterday, the question of K1 was raised again and the lady answered that K1's will be processed!

It’s honestly ridiculous that, once again, K1s are not considered. We have been waiting for months as well, and we are not less valuable than any other type of visa. I’m truly disappointed, but whatever.

K1 has been forgotten by everybody. The EO was für Immigrant visas but K1 which is in the non-immigrant category gets ignored. I really do not know what to think anymore.

Hi! I just wanted to let you all know that I traveled to Belgrade, Serbia yesterday and it was one of the easiest trips I have ever taken. The airport in Dortmund, Germany was almost empty. Everything was closed. The only people that were there were ones that wanted to flew to Serbia as well. There were no other flights. Check-in, security and passport control were super easy. Everybody was really friendly and some people even made jokes. Everybody was in a good mood. Nobody asked me any questions. The plane was full, every single seat was booked. But people were wearing masks the whole time. Most people were sleeping, it was very quiet. We landed on time. The airport in Belgrade was empty too. After 15 min I was through passport control and had my luggage. Again, no questions asked, everybody was friendly. I got to my hotel and relaxed. So far I am impressed with how everything went.

Hey! For those of us currently (more or less patiently) waiting for their days to be over here in Mexico, the agreement on Mexico-US Border restrictions has not been amended but only extended for another 30 days i.e. until July 21, for now.
My understanding is we should be fine to enter the US via Mexico until that date (July 21), provided we are not subject to another EO by then.

I thought exactly the same! I went on Twitter and this is what was clarified by the Mexican Ministry of Foreign Affairs; same terms and conditions will remain in place as they have been since their implementation on March 21:

Just wanted to share the same news!! https://www.google.de/amp/s/www.borderreport.com/regions/mexico/mexico-border-travel-restrictions-extended-through-july-21/amp/. So I think we should be fine!! Thinking about contacting the embassy once again to confirm, but unsure if that makes sense.. my flight is on Saturday so I’ve been on the edge for a couple of days. I would say I got grew hair, but no, still fab. 😋

I actually think this is pretty good news (obviously the best news is removing restrictions but we have to be realistic!). My thoughts are, if they wanted to add any additional restrictions they would have done it now, rather than just extending the exact same order.

I made it across last Friday.
No issues at all - grumpy staff at Miami - took about 20 mins in total.
London-Amsterdam-Mexico City-Miami-Nashville.
We had a great WhatsApp suport group.
I was in an Air BnB for 15 days and never left it - bar a shopping trip for food.

this week will be the 1 year anniversary of Mrs Prizm arriving.
it is better than either of us imagined it would be
would do it all over again in a heartbeat.
we have grown even closer and stronger together. we are building a life together one brick at a time.
time has quite honestly flown by so fast that we are surprised it has been a year already.
it was rough at first due to money, and having to work 2 jobs until she was able to start working, and she used that time to study english, and learn how things are in America to sort of acclimate to the culture shock. Now that she is working, she seems to enjoy her job and i have to constantly remind her to rest.
best decision i ever made was meeting her.

Thank you for sharing the news! Knowing that makes me a bit hopeful! In two days I'll be doing the same with AA too, so I hope everything goes well like her!
For everyone staying at Cancún, even if locals are not wearing masks, please wear yours! It is mandatory by law, and even if locals don't do it and nothing happens to them, the police is looking for tourists not wearing them to fine them. I hope everyone stays safe and hopefully all of us can reunite with our loved ones soon!

@VioletM the last I heard regarding Turkey was the best bet for brits was a possible air-bridge arrangement. Given summer is coming I would assume something like that might be considered in July. I considered Turkey myself but our visa expires soon so we didn’t have time to wait.
That said, a lot of hotels in Cancun are reopening now and I have read a few articles confirming Canadian tour operators and airlines are now restarting flights to Cancun in addition to tourist spots in the US (LV, NY).
https://ca.travelpulse.com/news/airlines/westjet-announces-summer-schedule-including-us-and-mexico.html
https://ca.travelpulse.com/news/vacation-packages/air-canada-vacations-touches-down-in-mexico.html
I’m not going to say Mexico is the way to go but Mexico City is the only real problem for Mexico, cases and deaths are very low out in the tourist spots. It’s kinda obvious why when you’re here because people are literally living on top of each other in Mexico City- it’s really densely populated.
I could probably be having quite a nice two week ‘holiday’ if I was in Cancun but I didn’t want to do 3 transfers so we stayed put in Mexico City.

So I asked my hotel and they said all hotels already report that to the police once you arrive. Actually I think this is something they do in most countries.
They gave me a copy of the report in case I need it but they said normally I wouldn’t need it.
so make sure to check with your hotel just to be safe.

Guys, wanted to give you an update. We rebooked our flight to the 13th and flew with AirCanada with a layover in Toronto (18h!!!) to Cancun. We reached Cancun yesterday and all went well. The first checkin in Frankfurt was easy, they just checked if Mexico has any restrictions and checked if we have an eTA for Canada, which you also need even if you transit. The flight with AirCanada was a good experience. Not too crowded and we even got food twice during the flight. The airport in Toronto was also way less crowded than Frankfurt and we spent the night alone at the Terminal. The immigration in Cancun was super chilled, they just asked what we are doing here, we said vacation and visiting a friend, they asked for how long and let us in. So overall it was super easy to get in. Would definitely recommend flying through Toronto with AirCanada
