no email from Qatar but checked status today and it said “case is ready for interview” so will contact the embassy tomorrow. Try and call NVC again and request an update, the transit time to arrive in Qatar took just 2 days which I’m sure will be similar to you!
I will let you know if the embassy offer any good advice that could potentially help you tomorrow.

I have nothing on Qatar but can send you to consulate reviews here https://www.visajourney.com/reviews/index.php?cnty=Qatar. If you get a packet 3 letter from your embassy, please share it with me so I can use it for others. Just PM me on VJ with a scanned PDF file and I'll take it from there. Thanks. I found this link from your embassy's website. It's always good place to go to actually know what is required for your interview. Prepare-for-Your-IV-Interview-1.pdf (usembassy.gov) And here is information from travel state but it is more generic in nature Nonimmigrant Visa for a Fianc(é)e (K-1) (state.gov) Use these tools to search for others from your country:

Use the tools here in VJ to answer "when I am going to get etc. etc." question. Near your picture, there is a link to your timeline. Select it and once you're on the next page near your picture you will see "follow similar timelines" and it will populate twelve other couples who are near your dates. Scroll down and you will see a "spreadsheet" style page showing all the variables for measurement for when others from your Embassy are getting the same notice of approval or action.  Try it. It really works!

And if you want to follow those from other countries that have similar timelines as yours there are several tools available to you. Go up to Immigration Timelines on the blue ribbon above and select it. Once you are on the next page looked to your left and you will see a box that states, "find similar timelines" and select it. A list will populate with those who are processing close to your timeline. When they start to change you will soon be behind them.

I followed those that were in my group to give me an idea where they were in processing so I could judge if I were ahead or behind.  It's pretty accurate, within a day or so.

If you choose to follow those twelve members, then you will get an email every time their status updates. Please consider giving back to the community here on VJ with a copy of the P3 letter that you will eventually receive from the embassy. Thanks, and as always Good luck and stay engaged in the process.

No, no expedition or calls or emails. I only mailed in my application on April 6th and didn't do anything else until I got the rfe on September 4th. Then I responded and got approved September 29th.

    Hi My Fellow April family,
The day has come for my fiance and I. I was just notified by my tracking app that my case has been approved as of yesterday. I checked on USCIS website and it's confirmed as Approved. I sent in the application on April 6th. If you may remember I received an rfe earlier this month on Sept 3rd and mailed the response the next day which USCIS recieved on Sept 9th. So it took 20 days from rfe to approval.
Please continue to keep the faith and hope, find distractions as that was helpful in taking my mind of the wait. To be honest, today was the first time I checked my case online to see the progress and saw the approval. I have not told my fiance yet, with the time difference it's still too early to call her. I am beyond excited but focused on the next steps as the journey continue but atleast this is one checkpoint crossed of the many to come.
Yours will arrive as well. Keep the hope alive, if you are religious and prayful like I am, ask for God's will to be done with your case and put in his hands. God bless and i am praying for you all and wishing you success on this journey.

Congratulations! Happy to have you in the forum. Did you download the PDF file on the first page first post?

We need a little housekeeping on your end. Many of our answers are predicated on the information you supply in your profile. When we look at the left column and can't determine your timeline OR your Embassy it's hard for us to give you a factual answer. Our answers will sometimes be tailored to a specific Embassy hence the reason for you to complete your profile. If you look at the profile of others here, they have a flag for their country, so it makes it easy for us to reply as we can quickly determine their Embassy. The country that should be used is the country where the interview will take place.

So, if you could help yourself out and complete your profile that sure would help us out when we want to reply to your question with factual information.

Once you finish that then return and you will see a flag in your profile. Select it and see what wonderful information will open up for you.

    Thanks
