Yes, I'm aware.  The point of my previous two posts in this thread were: (a) expressing optimism to hear anything in the near future, given the response to my status inquiry; and (b) pointing out someone who had also received that response hearing back mere days after their inquiry response. Specifically for (b), there had been a lot of doom and gloom type commentary earlier in this thread that, "omg they're only just now opening the file"... so I thought it would be helpful to point out that maybe some negative reactions to the inquiry responses were unwarranted.
 
For point (a), I can manage my expectations & optimism just fine.

I was reaching out to help you mitigate the process. As you have so elegantly pointed out that you have this under control, with your reply is filled with criticism of that help. BTW, I will see my way out.   

Congrats!  You got the "45 days" response to your inquiry just a few days ago.. Now I'm extra hopeful for a sooner than later action.

My status inquiry came back (they had promised by the 26th):
 
“Your case is currently being adjudicated. You should receive a notice of action* within 45 days.”
 
So, hopefully some good news in the coming days/weeks.

I see TEENY TINY SLIGHT movement for March 10... man I hate weekends now. 

I was literally talking about this to my fiance the other day, I was saying how I don't even look forward to weekends anymore because it means definitely no change in our case. 

Haha I hear you. As long as they’re not federal holidays (though my work usually has those off, too)...

I used to hate weekdays because of work... but now I like them because I get to look forward to my case status MAYBE changing... oh how life has changed... 

It's my Fiance's Birthday today, so it made for a great birthday gift

I saw some timelines showing that the NVC shipped approved I-129Fs to the embassy in Tokyo yesterday, so I'm a little more optimistic about that next step for my case.  Waiting on that NOA2 though!

Just got our NOA2 today!
 
NOA1 was 3/05 so almost 7.5 months. 

RFE answered - we had a missed box checked - that's it!!! Easily fixed... approval should be soon, right???😅

Your timeline says you got your NOA2 on the same day you got your NOA1... Just incase you weren't aware...
 

Neither really matters.  But the chart that is being updated on this thread shows Receipt Date since that is what the trackers use for obtaining that data.  For VJ timelines, people tend to put either (I use my Notice Date for my timeline).
