    Besides the week mail takes to arrive? Your paper application sits on a pile waiting weeks for some underpaid government 

    employee to input your data, having no incentive to work faster than needs to, to keep their job. Maybe incorrectly because he/she has problems reading your writing?

     

    Online, when you click confirm, it's in their database immediatly in line to be reviewed.

    Have you EVER been a member of, involved in, or in any way associated with, any organization, association, fund, foundation, party, club, society, or similar group in the United States or in any other location in the world?

     

    Yup everything.

     

    I even included Union membership.

    Wait, you stated you called, and your Certificate is "somewhere in Buffalo"

    Is that what they told you at the 877 number?

    Then it's being processed.

    Passports are received and processed in 7 to 8 days in Texas, where the USPS mails it.

    Then sent to an Agency, as you were told, Buffalo.Thats where it being processed.

    Buffalo will send instructions to Arkansas, where your passport will be printed,  shipped 2 day Prority..

    Then your NC will be mailed from Buffalo first class mail.

     

    If the passport status doesn't show it as received, then you are entering the wrong information.

    Did you make a copy of your application? Check the information (Name, DOB, and SS number)

    Enter it in the passport status search online exactly as shown on your application.

    Obviously you can enter Canada with your Canadian passport.

     

    You can't return to the US with your Canadian passport.

    I assume the state dept still has your Certificate of Naturalization? Otherwise you could drive there.

    You cant apply for an emergency passport while one is pending.

    When did you apply??

    Call the 1-877-487-2778 and maybe they can tell you where your passport is down the pipeline.

    Or create an emergency situation for you.

    At the oath ceremony, they told us to wait few days to update our socials then update our DL so we could register to vote because our status will be updated.  Unfortunately covid19 has social security offices closed. 

     

    When I became permanent resident I renewed my dL and the expiration on my dL was the date from my work permit instead of my birthday,  the lady at the dmv explained me next  time immigration status change I need to update social first because dmv uses the social to verify status. 

     

     

     

    Can you show me where it says you need to update SS or DL to vote??

    I need to register to vote and I haven’t done it I thought social and dL needed to be updated prior registering to vote.

    Have you called and confirmed your application is in Dallas??

    Your application usually gets processed at a random agency.

    Look at the return address on the envelope your passport came in.

    Scan as PDF to your computer, then upload that PDF

     

    Don't worry about credit card payment, there is an option to pay, before submitting. They will redirect you to pay.gov.
