USCIS live chat and ask. No you cannot request transfers, it how they manage the workload. Processing times can also change weekly.

Hi. Approved today (the 5th of May 2020). NOA1 was the 19th of February 2020. 75 days in total. 🙂
Now, I'm wondering. I've seen people still waiting from July 2019. Do you think they are giving priority to some jobs? (Is an engineer considered more valuable than a bartender?)
I'm a software engineer, I live in Holland and moving to Texas.

This is the email I received. It will take a few weeks before I get a response. I have noticed the processing time has jumped but this happened a month ago also, then a few weeks later the times were updated again to November 2019 dates so just keep checking the processing times.

We're not the government, so focusing is hard right now because of everything going on.
We're grateful that after the ban majority of spouses who went for their interview got waived and approved, most of them are with their loved ones now.

And the rest of us haven't gone for our interviews because of the lockdown plus the Consulate isn't holding interviews yet.

So yes, there's Always a way, and in this case, all spouses including myself who is waiting for their interview will get approved as soon as we go forward to the embassy. And when we re-unite with our spouses we will sit together and look back at this time with hearts full of praise and Thanksgiving.

So you see the cause of the ban is the governments problem to solve not ours. You guys should stop adding sand to our garri, the process is hard enough.

    1. Login to your account online
    2. Go to your case
    3. Right under “Case Status”, you will see a date.  As you can see in the screenshot above posted by coe23 . This is date when the last time your case was touched or updated.
  12. Thanks

It means your case was last touched on April 21, 2020. So its a good sign wait for your approval soon.

This was NOT what I wanted to see. However, as long as we don't have to start ALL OVER again, we have no choice but to wait. I can deal with that.

coe23 reacted to Biola in All Nebraska I-130 Filers -- Part 6
    Hello everyone,

Both myself(applicant) and my husband received notification from the NVC that my I-130 was approved.  They also asked us to open an online account with the Department of State's Consular Electronic Application Center (CEAC).

    I-130 filed - March 4, 2020
    I-130 Approved - May 6, 2020.

What are normally the next steps we should expect including timeline. If there is a thread that already covers this topic and you can point me towards it, I would appreciate it so we can prepare for the next steps and have all our ducks in a row.
I also wonder if countries that are on the visa ban have been getting their spousal visa's approved as were both from Nigeria.

My husband's in Nigeria and this immigrant ban mess is annoying,
    but I have a feeling Nigeria/consulate will do what's necessary regarding biometrics,etc.
I've heard the talks are expected to yield positive results.

Godspeed and successful filing to everyone!
