Hi Everyone!
My wait is finally over! I received my Green Card in hand yesterday, waiting on a day that seemed like it was never going to arrive. It’s finally over! Thank you to everybody in this discussion for all your help over the years and for those still waiting, hang in there!

Hi, congrats
. I have the same timeline and I am in NYC too.
I have been waiting for RFE or interview since June 2021.i have tried congresswoman inquiry but no success.
Did you do anything to get the RFE??
Hi!
I reached out to congresswoman in September, I followed up after 40 days and they said they hadn’t got a response and they would reach out again, then I got the medical request and the same day congress replied saying that they heard from USCIS saying they had sent it out a request to evidence. You are so close it has to be close by. What was the outcome of your congresswoman’s inquiry? -

Can anyone advise me on whether or not I should renew my AP?
I-360 approved this week, and my AP is expiring in February 2023. I am seeing on the USCIS website that I-131 is taking appox 7 months for renewal. Do you think it is worthwhile renewing this, or just waiting it out until my I-485 is completed?
(I-485 filed in July 2019, held in Abeyance January 2020. NYC field office, but AR-11 filed in June 2021 change of address to Massachusetts)
Thanks
I would file for a renewal AP card, the wait from I-360 to approved I-485 is long 15-17 months I believe

Yesterday December 2nd I received a RFE for my medical examination to be mailed to USCIS!
Case filed July 2019
I-360 Case approved in June 2021- Pinkrlion, CDIRL, Deee Smith and 1 other

Your online status is supposed to have changed. I got mine about 3 weeks ago and responded a week after. Two days after delivery, my online status changed, and my case was approved yesterday. You may need to reach out to your senator. I did with my case.
Are you based in NYC?

Yes that is correct. Just my i-360 approval message then received approval notice. Since then there is no update on i-485. Therefore, i reached out to my senator two weeks ago to get me any update.
Ok I’m with you, I got my c31 ead then a month later I got the approval and another month I got the case has been moved update.
I hope you hear soon. -

do you know if you are getting interview?
I don’t know. Either an interview or called for medicals
1 minute ago, balo101 said:Yes i contacted my senator two weeks ago. Because i do not know where my file is at this point. I never got transfer message or anything.
Oh, so once your case was approved you didn’t hear anything else? Just case approved on I-360

I completely agree with you. I tried to focus on other things but still can't.
Have you tried with senator? I contacted them 2 weeks ago let's see if they can update me.
No… I didn’t even think that was an option? Did you just contact them like you would the congress person?

WOW. You have been waiting for 15 months now. I am about to make 8 months and i am going crazy. What is the response you received from your congressperson?
Yeah I think that’s pretty standard or am I wrong? I was under the impression everyone had to wait this long.
It’s easy for me to tell you to hang in there, but it’s very difficult when you want something so bad I understand, I tried to forget about it I wouldn’t even check online and distracted myself with other things. Try push it away for a while for your own peace.
I submitted an inquiry last month but haven’t got a response yet -

Is your field office NYC?
When did your VAWA approve? and when did your file moved to local field office?
I am waiting for the last 7 months now.
Hi balo101
Yes NYC, my vawa was approved May 2021 and moved in July 2021 so I’m at 15 months now

For me the congressperson are very fast responding, they sent the correspondence within an hour to USCIS and it's USCIS who take upwards of 30 days to respond and as soon as congressperson he edit details and forward to my email with hours.
Wow that’s great they were so fast to respond, wish USCIS were the same 😅 Thanks for the info!

If you are within processing time, Ask congressman to make an inquiry of your case and they will give you privacy release form. They can take anywhere between 30 - 45 days. Usually closer to 45 days. I also did the same last week.
Hi Karman!
anywhere from 30/45 day for a response, is that from USCIS or from your congressman?

Hey, you can input your zip code to search your congressperson here: https://www.house.gov/representatives/find-your-representative
I believe yours should be AOC so you can fill out this form and someone from her office will reach out to you:

Thank you so much Brownielove! 🌺 really helpful!
