Hey y’all,
my card from USCIS is now showing on USPS’s “Informed Delivery.” My status hasn’t changed but now that I can see it on my Informed Delivery I already have the tracking number.
 
just wanted to give the update in case you all wanted to track it thru Informed Delivery too!

50% of the cases are now adjudicated in 8.5 months compared  to 12 months.  Considering covid that is a significant and most probably an unexpected improvement 
 
It is taking longer to get to 93% rate but those are typically the more difficult ones or ones that have had RFEs, etc.. which inherently take longer.

I just got my “your card is on it’s way” update. Hope you get yours too! 

We got good news today!!
Expedite Request Sent Friday (June 12)
USCIS Requested for supporting Documents Monday (June15th)
Supporting Documents sent Same Day (June 15)
Documents Received (June 16th)
CASE APPROVED for I-765 and I-131TODAY -We ordered you a new card. (June 17) SOOOO HAPPY!!
 
 
Question do we have to apply for his SS card or will it come with the combo card? when we signed up we choose the option for USCIS to apply for the ss card but he will need it for work along with the combo card.

Will do!! I live in North Seattle by the Broadview neighborhood. Right outside the gated community where it is rumored the descendants of Nordstrom live. A few years ago Obama came to visit the house across the street from us and it was quite a sight. We had a massive SWAT van park on our driveway. I remember them asking when the house was built because apparently the weight of the armored truck cracked driveways before 😬
 
It would be nice to cross paths! It’s always nice to connect with people in similar situations - I feel like conversation is easier due to a familiar starting point  
 
It wasn’t supposed to be indefinite, but from what I remember reading they don’t have a date yet of when to fix the cracks in the bridge so definitely it’s been tougher for people to travel back and forth. Rumor has it a lot of people are leaving WS because of plummeting property value due to the closure. 2020 just sucks.
 
I am sending ALL the good vibes your way!! Spokane is so fast with GC processing so I am not even worried about your case!! I am worried about mine because Seattle has a 17 month timeline HAHA

Nope no changes here either. However my social security card had just arrived! And i received my paper approvals over the weekend 

The article specifically says that there is no changes to the current adjudication process.

Surely they have to exempt spouses of US Citizens. If anything, I am sure this will get walked back (like all other Trump started issues) and have a bunch of exemptions. I wouldn't worry about it too much.

The USCIS acknowledged it posted that material on “an internal webpage used by headquarters staff to maintain records of guidance“ but said it contained “incorrect information“ and has since been taken down.
“The dates in the post and the reference to the executive order were incorrect,” the agency said. “This post has been removed and does not reflect current adjudication guidance.”

You’re very welcome. I don’t always feel so positive myself in this journey but it definitely helps to try keep focused and not get on board the worry train, when possible. 🙂
 
My guess is that you will get it on or before Wednesday. If I were in your shoes, I’d contact them if you hadn’t received it (or at least the tracking info) by Friday. 🙂 I felt myself relax a lot once I got the tracking info. 
 
How’s things going in Seattle? I have friends who live there in West Seattle & work in Capitol Hill district (I know there’s a lot of scary stuff happening there) and my husband’s grandma lives in WS too but she’s been self isolating for a while now. We were due to visit her in March for her 80th bday but due to COVID we had to postpone our trip. Luckily we were going to drive over (from Spokane) so there wasn’t any loss of money from flights etc.

I haven't gotten the update yet which says the bit about contacting them if I haven't yet received my card. It is still stuck on "Case is Approved" which only talks about contacting them if we haven't received the approval notices yet that's why I was a bit worried.
I have a feeling I will have it by next week hopefully!!! Will surely update

OMG!!!! EAD and AP cases approved a week after expedite denial!!!!! I’m so happy!!!!!!

Oh yea sorry mine did that one too! So it was new card produced, then approved, then the whole usps thing. Haha I know it’s hard not to worry 😄 You’ll have your card in hand soon 😊

Oh okay! Mine went from “new card being produced” to “case is approved” two days ago and no movement till now. I’ll just try not to worry (but is that ever possible in immigration?)

I received mine yesterday! Approval date was June 4th 😊

Mine came like 5 days later I think.

I think you’re right in suggesting a joint sponsor. Does that mean we need an I-864  and an I-864A for each of us (myself and 2 children?)
