Well I have another update! Just received my interview letter! 
Interview is scheduled on November 8th in Oklahoma City (we live in Dumas TX but this is the closest office to us). 

I've been tracking the wrong April 2021 AOS Filers group for the past 5 months 🤣
 
Our AOS case file was received April 19, 2021.
We received NOA on May 20, 2021.
Just received notification of Biometrics appointment date September 17, 2021.
Biometrics appointment is October 8, 2021!

Yes, you must wait for the Packet 3 email with instructions before you can schedule an appointment. My fiance is living in Dubai and I just received the Packet 3 email today! Abu Dhabi consulate received our file Dec 28, so it took a little over 2 weeks (17 days), even with the holidays, to receive the P3. Good luck!

Don't do anything in advance until the case is ready at embassy and the embassy sends you an email to the petitioner to follow these steps for Scheduling interview, Medical exam, police clearance etc.  Usually takes about 2 months to receive.

If you find anything not up to date or the information is wrong, please share your findings. Please compare the date of the P3 of mine with the date from your copy, once you receive yours from your embassy. Keep in mind that I try and be factual with my information, but I can't do it on my own and that's where you come in and can give back to the community those who come behind you. Without others ahead of you I would not be able to provide this to you.  I can only share factual information if folks like you continue to be my eyes and ears for your embassy. My case arrived at NVC on December 23. I just got my case number today, January 2.

I just called NVC. The hold time was only about 1 min. Anyway I had an NOA2 date of Dec 6 - no case number yet, but NVC did receive it.

NOA2 Approval just received. Following this thread now, yay!

We did! The website status changed on Thursday 12/6, our paperwork came on Monday the 9th and approval was actually dated 12/4. 

93 days. NOA2 on 11th DEC 👍

Congrats to all those that are approved already! Fingers crossed for speedy approvals for those of us that are still waiting! Its exciting to see people in here getting their NOA2s! ❤️
