I don’t think they would not like your explanation it’s a passport so it’s expected to have an expired date 

Bring the new one with you to the embassy and explain to them that the old one expired you have no control over the the ceac website the old one is already accepted the immigration officer will tell u what to do just make sure u bring the new one with u to the interview

Ok I’m so frustrated been DQ from oct 28 of last year F2A category for Jamaica up to now no interview I’m so frustrated 

Can I ask you a question before you receive interview date did your case status changed to ready?

Ok, after being on hold for 1 hour and 55 minutes... I was just told that they are still scheduling for Jamaica in February.

Exactly just get a cheap phone to put your sim in for the time your there just to be on the safe side

See, if we, as normal people, never met you or your wife, can see this as a red flag, what do you think a trained US Foreign Services employee such as a Consular Officer who do only 15-20 cases like this a day, will think?

Received  my IL on 10/24/19 for 
Interview  date 11/7/19
2  weeks  to prepare  for the interview  date. 
It went well! 
My hubby  was asked 5 questions.
Then he was approved. 
Now  waiting  on his package..
Was told if would  be  ready  in 2 weeks.
