    OP is a CR1. They will not need an EAD. Once they enter, they enter as a permanent resident and do not need another form of work authorization. Also what do you mean they are a year away from the interview? The OP already had their interview...

    Most Pakistani males end up in lengthy AP even after the documents are all submitted.

    I don't want to sound negative, but it seems that all the RFEs and refusals are coming from cases submitted by lawyers. Is it really that hard to fill up 20 pages of forms with instructions and VisaJourney help? If there are no criminal charges on ones record, why would anyone go for a lawyer?

    my lawyer submitted on 11th and some on 13th. and then on 12th they replied to one of her email to submit all pages of my wife passport. 12th they updated the status but that was same refusal

    AP means many things.  And just because NVC reviews it doesn't mean the consulate will be satisfied

    My interview was also on 30th aug.. when did u submit additonal documents ? Do u have any update on ur status ??
