When I sent my papers none of them where apostilled and got approved ,but for my sons us passports in the states I did bring all my papers apostilled.,,I think that latter on it’s better to have them apostilled so you don’t lose time doing it from the states .it’s not that expensive to do in Argentina

Hi,just finished my kids pasaportes,the ask me als9 for more info evidence ,but since I just have arrived ,I didn’t have much so I went with a doctor for check up and they put my name on the doctors records ,put them on my tax report ,sent school,récord ,I got them a extension for my credit card ,sent them also ore family plan for cel phone ,and after a week they sent my kids passports ,send as much info to show that they are living with you,good luck.

Hi,does anybody know what phone number can I call the embassy ,my ir2 visa is about to expire and I can’t get a plane ,because they canceled my flight 3 times¡! Need to ask how I can extend it ,some once gave my a combination to talk to someone of the embassy but I forgot

Ok today my kids had the med exam ,everthing ok! It was around 2 hours with doctor grillo ,I asked her how many interviews or exams she did this month and she told me not many so it seems that the embassy isn’t doing many interviews ,

Is there anything else to pay after the doctor Fees +the 175 dol ?

Hi,simply received a email from the embassy telling me I had appointment with the date and hour! I paided the 120 + 365 at the nvc stage and the doctor told me I had to pay her fee and the xrays plus 175 dollars ,not sure if I have to pay anything else?

Hi,of the people that have received ssn ,when did you enter,this last month or before Covid ,because I’ve seen long waiting times for ssn ,has it got better lately?

I did it ,it took 2 weeks for approval of expedite and then 2 days for the embassy to contact me

Hi,I’m a usc living abroad since I’m 12 and going back to the states with y 2 kids 15 and 17 ,I did the I 130 ,then approved and moved to the nvc and I did not send i864, just A note saying that I don’t need a i864/because of the child act 2000 and I got DQ from the nvc waiting for the interview in ambassy ! 
but becareful you have to convince the consul that you intend to stay and live in the USA so the child  can get his visa.

if the child enters the USA as a legal resident and is living with a usc parent ,apply for a USA passport once he receives his ssn  you will send the child’s passport with the visa ,the usc us passport ,child’s original birth certificate ,and both parents must sign the application,if 1 parents is not present you have to have sole custody or a paper signed by the other parent giving permission for applying for the passport !

Ok ,my other son  Is 17 will turn 18 in June I did receive  A email from the nvc that the could expedite him because the child act 2000 so I’ll try that 

But is the emergency o expedite  better?  Or are they the same?

Hi,my nvc case has been approved since mid ago,waiting for Buenos Aires embassy to give me a interview but read that there only doing emergency interviews ,is a expedited the same or do I have to apply for the emergency one? , it a ir2 for my son .
