    If you have the required documents as listed in the STEP 5 (checklist) and you have a genuine relationship you shouldn't have any issues.

    There is nothing stated on the embassy website yet regarding the DS-5540 for USEM.   Technically the K-1 visa is not an immigrant visa  .. but it is processed as one until the very final stages at the embassy.   With that said I have read of some embassies now asking for the DS-5540, I would error to the side of caution and have the DS-5540 ready.

    Don't worry about it.   The DS-160 is a non-immigrant visa application, you are scheduling for a immigrant visa interview so the DS-160 will not be asked for when scheduling the interview, and it will not link to your profile/acct.   (ya I know .. confusing)
     
    Bring your new DS-160 confirmation page to the interview.  You can mention something to the Filipino pre-screener when he is collecting documents, but it is nothing to get stressed about as long as you bring the new DS-160 confirmation page to the interview.

    No such critter.
     
    If you CEAC status shows READY .. it is ROCK n ROLL time!!!    
     
    Pay your visa fee at BPI, wait 12-24 hrs before trying to schedule your interview online after that.
     
    The medical at SLEC is first come-first served.    No reason to show up at O' dark-thirty and stand in line .. arrive an hour or two after SLEC opens and easily complete day one

    Apologies for not seeing it while looking through the thread. I still appreciate the help! Thank you so much! We are still waiting for NVC to send over the documents. The status is still "At NVC".
