Yes!
Last night (10.12pm) - USPS picked up my card and it's now out for delivery so life is finally good again!
Zero updates from USCIS before that so talk about a happy surprise as I was biking home along Guadalupe

Woke up to a "we have taken action on your case" text and email but didn't see anything updated on the old site and the app, so I waited till I got to work and checked the new site and:
Yayy! 12 days before the interview lol but something is something.

Our status still shows as "Interview was scheduled" but today we received in the mail our approval NOA for permanent residence. I was sweating bullets since we never saw anything updated on USCIS. Our interview date was 10-29 / notice date 10-31.
Great day when you open up a letter from USCIS and see "Welcome to the United States of America" in bold letters.
So, I suppose this means I'll see you all in a year and a half when we start going through the slow as heck ROC process 😐

Come on in, water's fine.
Which is basically "it's nice and all, but at this point wouldn't it be better to work on cases at field offices where they won't get interviews for another few months?"

We asked and was told that it required some more "computer work" and then a supervisor approval. Once that is done - we could expect the card in 1-2 weeks.
My lawyer replied to my update with a "hopefully you should get an approval within the coming few weeks" (lawyers being lawyers... non-committal to the max).
I'm hopeful that we'll get an update this week and then it's a just a rushing game.
Best of luck!

Updating to help alleviate potential stress:
Had our I-485 interview yesterday in San Antonio. Very nice officer and very casual interview.
20 minutes where the officer went through the application form, checked through the yes/no questions (did you ever x/y/z/j) and then asked if we had any extra photos or evidence we wanted to add. At the end of the interview - we got a piece of paper with information on how to remove our conditions (I-751) in 2 years time.
Not going to fill out any data points or timelines for this website but filed early May and moved once so it's within normal bounds.

My husband and I had our interview yesterday at the San Antonio field office. It lasted less than 15 minutes and it was pretty nice, we have been approved! Funnily enough my EAD was approved two days before the interview. Check out my timeline for more detail and I hope it helps. This thread/forum has helped a lot through all the stressful waiting, thanks everyone for sharing your timelines and experiences on here!

4-6 months from filing date. Biometrics doesn’t change anything

Had my interview today in Cincinnati, approved on the spot!
He asked me more questions than I expected, but they were all very simple and conversational. Maybe around 30-35 minutes overall. Only asked if I had any more joint documents to give him and saved only one picture. Just flipped through my photo albums, did not look at everything.
So, so so happy hoping to get my card soon!
Never received my ead btw, so my greencard will be here before I got any sort of ead approval

Hi y'all,
Just wondering if anyone received a notice for the I-765 that USCIS will reuse previously captured fingerprints and other biometrics?
If so - any idea of what this means in terms of process step and timeline?
Got one today (dated the 13th) and am feeling like it's slow rolling. Still waiting for I-485 interview and all that.

After 4 months of waiting, today arrived in the post my biometrics appt for September 30th.
So happy for the progress right now, even if it's so little.

Yesterday we saw a May 6 filer get approved. With that said, they are working on the files. There is not much to the i765 so it should complete soon
