Just wanted to let you guys know that my GC is coming in the mail today! My interview was on March 12th in Washington, D.C. and it was approved on the spot!

Did you have USPS send your mail to your new address? I was in the same boat, but USPS forwarded it, so it just took a while longer. I received my Notice on Day 11 after my status online updated. 

Yay Congrats!! I got my Interview scheduled on Thursday as well, currently waiting (im)patiently for my letter to come! Finally!

I filed in March, got my NOA1 in April. 
Did my first set of biometrics (all ten fingers) on August 14th, my second biometrics for I-131 (just my right pointer finger) on September 1. 
Yesterday it was finally approved!! 

Does anyone know when I should expect the physical card in the Mail?

Hey guys! Just wanted to let you guys know that I got a second biometric appt scheduled. My noa1 was April 14, my first bio was august 14 and now my second bios are September 1. 

Yeah I meant the NOA1, as far as I know, they go off of that order.. 
sadly it’s already been delayed so much because of COVID and it sucks! 😞

So, I talked to USCIS on the military hotline yesterday. They told me that from the date of the field office opening, it could take 30-60 days to get the Biometrics appointment letter. I filed in March, didnt get my NOA1 until the middle of April, so I assume it will be quite some time before I get my biometrics appt and then my EAD/AP 😞
 

Keeping my fingers crossed that you will have it soon, and keep us updated! 🙂
Oh you are right, the diploma und proof goes with AOS, not EAD/AP. I confused it for a second there. 

Wow, Congrats, that was so quick! I got NOA1 on April 14th so it gives me hope that I won´t have to do biometrics either! I wonder if they are able to use the picture and fingerprints from immigration at the airport. Will you let us know what picture they ended up using on your EAD to give us a clue on what they´re using as replacement - things they have in the system or the passport pics we sent in with our AOS packets?
 
Edit: Did you have your highschool/college diplomas accredited or just translated to English? Did you put proof of Bona Fide MArriage?
 

That is not true for the Consulate in Frankfurt, Germany. Packet 4 is an email that tells you to schedule your interview, and before this, you cannot schedule it, even if you paid all the fees.
