Happy News! Feb 2021 filer, just checked my online account and it says the new card is being produced!

Finally!!! 😭I was three days away from being able to make an inquiry 🤣

Received date of February 25, 2021.  I just got an email stating that a new card is being produced and will be mailed to me as of today.  Good luck to all of you still waiting.  Now to help my husband with his English so he can apply for citizenship.  But for now, we don't have to worry about a stupid extension letter every few months.

Verständlich... aber im Vergleich zu den Alpen sind die Appalachen auch nur Hügel 😁
Berge (Hügel), Wälder, Flüsse und Seen fande ich immer schon am schönsten. War noch nie wirklich ein Strand- oder Stadtmensch. Deswegen finde ich die Gegend, in der ich jetzt wohne, einfach perfekt 🤩

Die Smoky Mountains sind auch wunderschön 🤩 ist etwa 3-4 Stunden Fahrt von mir...
Ich liebe meine Berge hier! Komme aus Norddeutschland. Da gibt es sowas nicht 😂

Warum seid oder wollt ihr alle an die Küste? Kommt doch mal lieber in die Blue Ridge Mountains. Ist schön hier 😁

Die Bundesregierung hat sich endlich auf einen Gesetzentwurf geeinigt.  Der wird dann jetzt wohl zur Kommentierung an die Bundesländer und interessierte Verbände und Organisationen gegeben und danach im Bundestag behandelt.  Das Update koennte dann irgendwann im Herbst in Kraft treten. 
 
Doppelte Staatsburgerschaft wird zugelassen, Beibehaltungsgenehmigungen werden abgeschafft.

Not sure, if I'm an exception... but I had absolutely no problem with being unemployed for months. Lol
 
When I arrived, I tried to make myself feel at home. I tidied up, cleaned, painted every room of the house, fixed broken things, started woodworking, built shelves, worked in the yard, and so on... I did everything that I never had the time or energy for when I was still living in Germany.
 
I live in a very rural area. So, I also explored the woods, went hiking, etc. Then after a few weeks, I also adopted a dog from the shelter and spend all my free time with him. I built him a fence, bed, an agility trail, etc...
 
Time actually flew by.
Wish I could have been unemployed even longer. I didn't get everything done that I wanted to get done 😁

I hade to change an error with them, sent an e-request, after that expired, I talked to a rep... nothing.
Then I sent them a registered letter explaining it all over again and provided the e-request number. Took about a month, but then I got an email stating that they corrected the error.
