    Congrats.
We had our interview today as well in Atlanta. However, me and my wife were separated. She just questioned me (the beneficiary) and it was quick. She just asked me security questions and how her and I  met and that was it. I check my case online and it says “new card being produced”.

I had my marriage based I485 interview earlier this afternoon in Atlanta. Everyone from the security to the interviewer were super friendly!
I was little concerned as our case was out of box, meaning my husband is self employed and he is on unemployment right now and I have my own startup since I got my EAD.
Also we don’t have many documents together except a car we own and joint taxes.
Having said that we have been living together abroad since 2017 and have tons of pictures.
    I literally took $60 worth printouts 😂
Now for the interview, as soon as we got in, our interviewer said alright I looked at your file and it’s good so let’s get you out of here quick 😀
And then it’s pretty much I 485 checklist questions and I made some conversation about us and he didn’t even worry about any of that. He only asked few follow up questions on my work out of curiosity and ended up updating self employed on my file and that’s it!
Unfortunately he didn’t find my medical and started looking up online and found a packet in Nebraska. He ordered for it and said I’m pretty sure that’s your medical and as soon as it gets here I’ll approve your GC which he said should be in 2 weeks.
If they don't find my medical in that packet from Nebraska I have to submit another medical. But pretty much from my interviewers words my GC is approved🙂
I shared my background in case anyone is in similar scenario!🙏🙂
Good luck for everyone who is having their interviews soon😊

Going to the interview today in Santa Ana, CA. I went ahead and filled out a new i-864, just in case, and brought the supporting info. We just printed a few pics and are bringing originals and copies of all the required documents. Hope it goes well. Wife is nervous about what they will ask. I told her not to worry. In regard to the vaccines, we had to get her another varicella vaccine and our child another pneumonia vaccine per the doctor we went to for a new i-693 (our original was two years old). We got that all done and got the sealed envelopes on Friday just before the long weekend - just in time. We went to John Medical Clinic in Fullerton, CA. If you live near there, that was much cheaper than all the other alternatives, and they were helpful and friendly.

Husband just received the confirmation texts for his EAD/AP renewal (IOE numbers). Looks like it’s in response to the original application we sent, so I guess USPS did end up delivering it. Case status shows that the last update was May 12, which was when the application was SUPPOSED to be delivered (we never got confirmation from USPS and thought it was lost in transit). We’re relieved that the application isn’t just sitting somewhere or possibly in the wrong hands, but now we’re worried that USCIS will process the second application we sent out and we’ll have to deal with duplicates. *sigh*

We included a cover letter with the second application, explaining the situation and that it was a second attempt at filing, but not sure if they’d just ignore that and process anyway. I think we’d have to go through the process of withdrawing the other one if they do process it. We received these texts about three weeks after the first application was mailed out, so I guess we’ll find out for sure in a few weeks.

We passed the green card interview today. Our appointment was a 2PM time frame. We waited around in the waiting room for our turn. We were only interview for approximately 15 minutes. The only thing we didn't check properly was the notice to conditional permanent resident alien letter that we received. It has my name on it instead of my wife. So I'm hoping that the green card will come with the correct name on it.

Btw the way, our scheduled appointment was at 1030, we walked in at 1015 and walked out at 1050.

At first we got there really early since we love far away and stranded in the security line because it was long. It looks long but goes fast, we had to step out and wait till it was closer to our time

Here is a quick update from us.

Our AOS Interview was on Wednesday, May 19th, 2021. Today May 27th, 2021 my wifey’s 2 year green card arrived in the mail via USPS priority mail. It was sent out on Tuesday, May 25th, 2021 so it took about 8 days from approval right after interview to green card on hand. I hope the rest of you get their green cards soon as well :D

5/27/2021 - DFW - Had our interview today,
lots of people where there, they didn't care if you were on the phones if you're waiting, no signs there stating otherwise.
We saw some people come out and had issues, one guy was really strict. Lots of people had lawyers there, we didn't.
Their was about 10+ people doing the interviews. We honestly didn't wait long and they went fast. There was about 50 people waiting.
Our agent we got was a nice female. She asked the basics, How did you meet, do we have a job and she asked for evidence, we gave her all our credit card statements, joint checking, joint titles, joint bills and about 100 pictures.  In the end she only kept 1/10 of the items. She didn't ask for W2 or Tax stuff. She did go on to confirmed everything was correct on the I485. She couldn't given an answer and just stated everything looks good. 2 hours later , status got changed to new card being produced. Good Luck Everyone.

Hi, I just had my interview at the Santa Ana, CA field office. Interview was at 12:15  and we waiting for a little over an hour to be called in (I regretted not getting a book or something while waiting as you’re not allowed to be on your phone). Our officer was very nice but very throughout so the interview took almost 1.5 hours, even though our case is pretty straightforward. We left the building around 2:45pm. At the end our officer said everything looks good but I was missing the varicella vaccine so she might send me a notice to go to a civic surgeon to get it. I told her that I already had chickenpox as a kid but she said that my medical didn’t say anything about it so I will need to get it done. I’m a little upset because I remember talking about it with the doctor at medical for my K1 and she said I’m all good for the green card process.

    Hi Visa journey,

We had our interview yesterday May 19th, 2021 at the San Bernardino, CA USCIS office.

The Interview was short and for the most part painless since we submitted a lot of information regarding our bona fide relationship with the original application and took much more to the interview itself. My wife did get asked about her travel history and the adjudication officer at first was telling us that she was only supposed to have used her Advance parole for an emergency only and not for leasure travel , but since I told her that the combo card was applied for to be used for multiple entries and after showing the adjudication officer a copy of the i-131 showing that we had applied for multiple entries and we did not list any emergency on the form, the officer said that we were ok. Not sure if she was testing us. The officer did not approve us on the spot but only hinted us that it was going to be approved citing that the file needed one last review before a decision could be made. Our status changed online about 4 hours hours from exiting our interview from “Interview Scheduled” to “New Card Being Produced”. Then today on 5-20-2021 it changed again to “Case Approved”. Good luck to the rest of you. We will let you know once we have her 2 year CF1 Green card on hand.

i honestly don't know the answer for that.  I do understand spending unnecessary money is frustrating, but if you need it and don't have it, It will delay things more. If you get it and don't need it, it's frustrating but at least you were prepared just in case.

Form I-693 instructions (refer to page 8 ) states:
    - That you do not need a medical re-done if you lodged your I-485 application within a year of having the medical done AND the physician did not find a class A medical condition OR they did find a class A medical condition but you received a waiver of inadmissibility and you have complied with the terms and conditions of the waiver.

    - But it does mention that you still need to show proof that you complied with the vaccination requirements. So you just need to make sure the DS3025 (vaccination record) was included with the original medical report and filled out correctly.

K or V Nonimmigrants Applying for Adjustment [26]
K and V nonimmigrants applying for adjustment of status are not required to repeat the medical examination if the application was filed within one year of the date of the original medical examination, and:
The medical examination did not reveal a Class A medical condition; or
The applicant received a conditional waiver in conjunction with the K or V nonimmigrant visa or the change of status to V and the applicant submits evidence of compliance with the waiver terms and conditions. [27]
If a new medical examination is required and reveals a Class A medical condition, a new waiver application will also be required. In such cases, the officer should determine whether the applicant complied with the terms and conditions of the first waiver, if applicable. Such determination should be given considerable weight in the adjudication of a subsequent waiver application. [28]

Even if a new medical examination is not required, applicants must still comply with the vaccination requirements if the vaccination record was not included as part of the original medical examination report. If the vaccination report was properly completed at the time of the overseas examination, the officer may accept the vaccination assessment completed by the panel physician.

An applicant’s overseas medical examination report completed by a panel physician should already be in the applicant’s A-file. If it is not in the A-file, the officer should request the medical examination report through a Request for Evidence (RFE).
