  4. Just double checking if this is everything I need including format. I have questions to :

#13 ; we have been married since July 01 2018 living together in Indonesia, we also lived together prior to our marriage for 4 months. So what documents do I need for my situation ? A letter from our witnesses at our wedding ? A letter from our community/ village leader ? Or should we open a joint bank account here in Indonesia ? Or skip as suggested by someone ?

#14 photos, , passport stamps, hotel receipts, boarding passes, train tickets ? What is this ? Do I show my bank statement with records of every place we went to , stayed at , and ate at ? My passport and visas for the last two years will show I’ve lived in Indonesia. Is this necessary if we live together here in Bali ?

  5. @missileman

I still have to get my divorce decrees from the courts , at least two of them, I have everything else with me already as far as documents go. I’d have to find documents for co-sponsor to. Does anyone have a link for this? Does anyone here think I can meet the deadline if I work on this straight for a week ? And then wait for my divorce decrees to be sent ? Or can I file without that evidence for the time being knowing that it’s coming in the mail. Maybe the divorce decree paperwork is submitted later or is it required from the first submission? Does my date start from my day of submitting my appeal ?

Thanks for all your help. Like I said , it’s frustrating. Sorry if this comes across weird. As far as my trump remarks , I am sorry, I’m not trying to come across weird nor do I wish to bring race into this. I simply want my wife to be able to go where ever I go. I’m going to try and get this submitted ASAP before the deadline. Hopefully I can. Thanks again for all your help, and sorry again if I was rude. I was up late last night and not thinking too straight.

  7. @Boiler @missileman ...... yes it is weird and By October 15th it will get even weirder . I do however thank you both for your great input. It’s late here, this whole thing is frustrating for my wife and myself but I’ve learned a lot in these forums. If it weren’t for the knowledgeable  people here, it would be even more weird. The truth of the matter should be obvious in this particular discussion whether people admit or even know their  true intentions is another discussion. My wife would have been approved for her tourist visa before we got married so It’s even more frustrating. One small but huge mistake.  We we’re always honest from the beginning, and we hid nothing . I am here for information and knowledge from others that have gone down the same path or just have a better understanding of new  and existing regulations and laws.  It’s simple, we first tried to get a tourist visa for my wife which she was denied twice. This was before my wife decided she really wanted to live In America which I tried to talk her out of so now we are rushing to get the process started and stamped before October 15. This decision was also made by the fact that It is easier for me to make a living in the USA.

Have a good night 🌙💤 it’s now 430 am in Bali Indonesia 🇮🇩...

  8. @yuna628 of course we will make a attempt with 0 intent besides being happy. We want a happy life. Together always . My wife really wants to live in the USA . Me on the other hand, I want to retire elsewhere eventually, after I work for another 5 years ....who wouldn’t want to have a house in paradise on a tropical island , surf everyday. It’s all part of the American dream. It’s part of being American, to be able to travel and roam the earth as we want , for however long we want. It’s my right . My wife loves her family very much , but she will always be at my side, but if I see her unhappy years from now because she misses her home and family, you better believe we’re giving back that card .

  9. Yeah well , we will live there and go through the green card process but if she choose to live somewhere else years later, she could. Nowhere does it say we HAVE to stay in USA correct? she can hand her green card back in Indonesia at the Us embassy and say she made a mistake and never return to USA after that. Unless your telling me , she will be forced to stay in a USA forever . Many people do regret moving to the states after a period of time and decide to go home. There is no law against that’

  10. @missileman why bring it up? Well because of trumps thoughts about immigration while he’ comes from a long line of immigrants as well as being married to one. It’s hypocrisy isn’t it? In general , all these regulations and laws that are coming and are already in place are just a little harsh and ugly if you ask me. Sure you can say , it’s for our countries  good, we need this, it’s what makes America, I understand why we need some rules , but I have a resentment.... it’s not about race but the government makes it about race. It is in fact about race. The human race , it’s about human beings that should have the right to come to America just as your great great great grand daddy did..... it’s the reason you were born In The USA. Do you know how degrading and embarrassing it is to be rejected because a government assumes you want to live there country?...when the person just wants to be with their spouse / family.  Especially if you make twice the amount of a average Americans yearly salary ?If you read my original thread before this one, you will know what I’m trying to accomplish. Before you answer that , we know the green card is not intended for a tourist visa but my dad wants to meet my wife before he dies. So I’m doing what I have to do . I brought race into it because trump is acting like a racist . Not sure why your confused .

  11. One last question for tonight, it’s 3 am in Indonesia and I’m tired. Can someone elaborate on the required Insurance. Will they be looking at my insurance history since Obama care ? Or just make sure we’re insured before we enter USA . Is travelers Insurance accepted ? That’s all I’ve had for the last two years . Prior to that I’ve just paid cash if I needed a doctor or prescription. ??

  12. @yuna628 well , if I could obtain my divorce decrees quickly and file before October (do you know the deadline ?) I would and will. Someone said it won’t make a difference because by the time they got to my paperwork it would surpass the deadline anyway. How do I guarantee a  time stamp ? I mean , if I am mailing from Indonesia once I have everything , how will they know it was mailed off before October unless I certify mail it ? Will they except this ? We were scared to rush everything by ourselves and then miss something. I have to still appeal first anyway right? Will that be our time / date stamp of let’s say sept 27 2019?

  13. Nationally, most of the people who receive benefits from the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program are white. According to  data from the U.S. Department of Agriculture, which administers the program, 40.2 percent of SNAP recipients are white, 25.7 percent are black, 10.3 percent are Hispanic, 2.1 percent are Asian and 1.2 percent are Native American. 0 are Indonesian and In 48 years I’ve never filed for food stamps or disability.... like I said , I pay my taxes, credit is okay now, yes I did file bk just like Trump. Should we send the First Lady back to her home?
