I had my interview this morning.. did not receive a verbal approval HOWEVER i received a text message an hour ago saying that “New card is being produced”. I am OVER THE MOON right now!!! I can’t believe it! Thank you all for being my saving grace when this process has gotten confusing. I wish all of you a smooth and easy rest of the road. If you care to read my interview experience, I’ll be putting it on my timeline for you to read.

I finally got approved for my work permit today!!
Filed: November 19th 2018
Receipt date: November 28th 2018
New Card Being Produced: Today, 21st May 2019.

Finally got my combo today. 11 days later...
Had the worst anxiety as the card was delivered to my lawyer's neighbor on Friday after their closing time. I got notification the 'card was left with neighbor as requested'. Of course, my mind was torturing me thinking who has my card
On another note, I look like a criminal in my pic LOL and I mostly take thee worst picture. Was really hoping they'd use the other passport photo. Go figure!!

Guys! After 5 months of waiting and seeing how others on our same local office got appointments after 2-3 months, we finally got our INTERVIEW SCHEDULED!
Received a message on the phone, an email and the status already updated on the site. I'm elated! And still somehow in disbelief. It's that kind of long awaited thing that I hoped but didn't think would happen.
Of course, we still need to be approved, but that depends entirely on us. Now it is all about waiting for the actual notification with the date and gathering all the necessary documents.
Regarding EAD/AP, status is still at received and I guess it'll remain that way.
I send everyone still waiting all the best vibes and a virtual hug. And some mental waves towards the USCIS, so they can work on those who've waited longer.
@rrobin0609 & @JunkTardis , I'm certain you'll receive news very soon and we'll all celebrate and leave all this frustration behind.

Yes. On there it usually goes...
Card was mailed to me.
+a few days, Card picked up by USPS
+1 to 3 days, Card was delivered by the Post Office.

Finally getting my EAD approval notice in mail according to informed delivery. AP NOA2 came on Monday-that envelope was ripped to shreds once it was in my hands LOL. Just waiting for tracking number for combo card now. All in good time
