When you send directly via an ACH Transfer, does your bank charge anything for this?

Mark and Pooky got a reaction from Chancy in K-2 Visa for my wife's son
Finally got as interview at the end of June 2020.  K-2 visa was only good until late September.  They arrived in US in late August and K-2 Adjustment of Status was filed mid september.  All will going well as soon as his AOS is approved.  Coming through immigration they only asked 2 questions-Where will you live in the US and is this your mom.  Fairly simple.

We were able to get a judgement from the Thai Family Court, and my now wife was awarded full custody. It is not a quick process and took about us 90 days because there are timelines involveded as far as notifications to the father and the child had to be interviewed regarding her relationship with her biological father and a report filed with the court.

I'm told it can also take far longer that depending on Courts schedule, so we were fortunate in that regard.

As I said previously finding an attorney you can trust and is knowledgeable of the process will be the first difficulty you face.

We were told so many times that this was impossible, and at times the process is very frustrating, but it can be accomplished.

    Hello
The hardest part is now done.  Received 90 day fiance Visa (K1)  after almost 8 months of waiting.  Will be entering through immigration in Chicago.  What can we expect once she gets there?  Thanks!

Mark and Pooky got a reaction from TBoneTX in Sole Custody for my Fiance's Child
We found a local lawyer who took up the sole custody letter for her son.  The process took less than a week, and the lawyer charged 7000 baht.  Not bad at all.

Mark and Pooky got a reaction from TBoneTX in Prenuptial agreement
I cant speak for all thai women, but my fiance was quite open to the topic as I have 3 grown children to leave money to.  She said thats my money and not hers and she will sign what ever I want.  I also told her that the prenup is protection for her.  Everything prior to marriage is exempt from marital assets and risk of loss in divorce.  Everything after that gets split 50/50, which is why it protects her too.  That's how I explained it.

I believe I have a real keeper with my thai lady.
